Using TV Recording Function
Hi All,
I owned a Sony Bravia and have been using th EPG option to record TV programs. Is there any other branded TV doing the same as Sony Bravia and if so, do people use it. I would have thought that most people will use the timer on their DVD recorder now... Your views are welcome. jmsbteo

Hi broadz,
I know what you mean, but I thought nowadays most DVD player has EPG function. In that case, we can alywas use the EPG functions of the DVD player to start recording rather than using my Sony TV EPG recording function to kick start the recording. jmsbteo |

I would have thought most modern DVDRs which have a digital tuner, will also have an EPG which would allow a point-and-record type of setup.
This is certainly the way twin tuner PVRs are programmed. Rgds, Scorp |
