I believe that some of Steve Brookstein's single was donated to the tsunami appeal.
But apart from that, if SBMG give up their profits, I doubt HMV and the like will do the same. I don't expect Woolworths to donate all their profits in Christmas week nor do I expect her to donate the money she will make over Christmas in the form of higher album sales.

Yes because talking about your private sex life (or again, lack of) in trashy mags isn't either! Oh the double standards.
Katie should concentrate on learning to write decent songs, rather than "Mary Pickford used to eat roses" and digging up the corpse of Eva Cassidy to get a hit record.
They donated the profits from Steve's single to charity and were accused of using dirty tactics to try and secure the number 1 position so they can't win either way.
