I have a Philips DVD Player/Recorder DVDR3480 which I got in early October. Everything work fine until today when turn the player on there was no picture. I have auto and the manual tuner the player and I still got no picture and the only thing I got is a black screen or a grey/fizzy picture of channel. I have change the SCART lead from my tv and the sky plus and check on all the connections to the DVD player and still I got the same problem.

I want to know how can I solved this problem?

Does it play DVDs? If not, your DVDR is not connected to your TV properly. If it does, it's not tuned in properly.

Is the player connected directly to the TV ie rule out pass through failure by another device? Also, you state no picture but do you have any sound?

Sounds like the RF lead has either fallen out of the back of the player or is not connected properly to the TV.
Have you tried analog (or digital) pictures on the TV to check that RF is OK.
If it is OK then there is something wrong with the tuning in the DVDR.
If there is no RF picture on the TV then there is a break in the stream from the external aeriel to the TV, and this is probably what would cause your DVDR to mistune.
