So, Does the X really ban criminals?
This year, We had two contestants thrown out of the series for criminal records. There was that singer from Hope and finalist Emily.
Anyone remember Mark Dillion from the first Pop Idol who actualy left a man for dead years before that? Was that the cause of any case that criminals taking part in talent shows in future? |

Emily did not have a criminal record! She was just a bully caught out!
I think its more if they have something like pending criminal convictions/court appearances more than a record but I could be wrong.

Had Emily performed on that saturday I reckon she probably would've got boo'ed by the audience.
In Pop Idol Marc D had no convictions pending... I cant remember if he had been to jail but I know that there was no secret about it and it wasnt hidden from the producers |
