Possible problem with Panasonic camcorder, advice please
Hi,
I have Panasonic NV-GS75, which I have owned for aout three years now. We now have a baby daughter and so we have been using more often than previously, most of the recording has therefore been inside. This is where I have really noticed something! The colours appear to be fine but then all of a sudden they appear washed out, almost with a blue tinge. Can anyone advise? It is fine outside but just does not seem to perform that well inside. Thanks. |

If its on automatic its possibly switching between daylight and artificial light settings. Daylight looks blue on the latter and artificial looks yellow on daylight setting. I have found that when both are evident in a shot say indoors light on but curtains open the camera gets "confused" if on automatic.

This sounds a lot like a white balance setting or similar, particularly if it's a problem indoors and not outdoors.
Camcorders and digital cameras sometimes struggle a bit under artificial light. If left solely on 'auto' mode then it'll be best guessing how to handle it. If you check through the manual you'll probably find some guidance on how to manually over-ride some of these things. |
