Has anyone won you round?
I have to say that I didn't notice Leon in the beginning and saw him as really there to make up the numbers. (I never spewed bile at him though) .
However he has started to grow on me. I still think he has some work to do to be a perfomer but I can see him making great records and good luck to him if he does. I still want Rhydian to win though. Who has gone up/down in anyone else's estimation? |

Same difference - I initially thought that they were just a novelty act, but now they're one of only two acts I actually look forward to seeing - they've got incredible amonuts of stage presence and charisma.

Yes, Rhydian. When I saw him at auditions and first boot camp. I believed all the edits that made him out to be an arrogant idiot, but after his performance for Dannii's final 3 I started to see that perhaps he'd been the subject of poor editing. I've since enjoyed all of his performances and I'm even going to see him perform in Cardiff on Monday with a bunch of friends I've met through supporting him in the contest.

Deffinately Same Difference to be honest I thought they were a bit of a joke until I realised they could actually sing and entertain.

Before the X Factor started and we just knew who the final 12 acts were, I wanted SD to go first. I really didn't like them. I started warming to them in about week 3 and now I still really like them. I really hope they make 3rd place.

Rhydian . I liked him but wasn't fond of the image they were "painting" of him. I thought - and it was true, sadly- that it's another "creation" of XF editors to create interest on the show.
And SD. I did NOT liked them, thought they were too cheesy and such, but they have won me over, too. Such professionals and hard workers, allways singing great and making me smile. Actually , This week - and I did it last week, too- I will vote for both Rhydian and SD. |

I've loved Rhydian from the first audition and still do - although his over obessive fans are starting to irritate me. Still, doesn't affect the way i feel about him.
Always liked Leon, but he is starting to get abit cocky now and quite dull. Couldn't stand Niki at the start but now i think she's fantastic. She really should come 2nd. Same Difference, i've always detested. --------- Since i've always loved Rhydian, i'd have to say Niki has been the one act to win me round! |

Rhydian. I couldn't stand him to start with. He gradually won my respect with his humility, his talent, and his willingness to camp it up shamelessly.
Not this year, but I actually ended up quite liking Ray last year, even though I started off wanting to punch him in the face. |

Quite the opposite - I liked Leon at the audition/boot camp/judges' houses stage but disliked him from the live shows on. It's his stage presence - or lack of. His appalling splay-legged dancing and the way he tries but fails to look natural and relaxed (please, Leon, stop trying to smile, it's scary). I want to hide behind the sofa. It's hard to focus on the voice, which I don't actually dislike at all.

I guess for me it has to be Same Difference. I still have to leave the room when they've finished performing because, sorry, but it's like chewing cotton wool for me to watch them grinning and begging for votes, but I've come to appreciate how good they are, even if it's not my thing. Their timing is fantastic.
Maybe this should be a separate thread, but I just have to say that the opposite is true for NIkki, as in 'who did you like but have now gone off'. I thought she was amazing to start with but now she seems pretty shaky and, although it is nothing to do with her singing, she seems to be sorely lacking in the charisma department. |

I wasn't keen on Rhydian but that was more due to the shows editors, now he's my favourite to win.
I expected to hate Same Diference but quite like them. Niki was my pick to win from the audition shows, still up there but the sob story is wearing thin. Leon, couldn't stand him, now I view him from the perspective as a Jazz musician and not a pop singer, he's not as bad as I first thought. |
