I think they mentioned her Viennese Waltz dress was a pink "fairy-tale" dress with scalloped edges at the top. Maltipom's presumably put it on Youtube, they had the design on the show.

It looked great! No mention of her paso outfit, though. Fingers crossed for something red, black or purple!

She always looks stunning and very striking in whatever she is wearing. She has the figure to pull of anything! Good luck Alesha!

She also has the kind of skin tone that looks good with a wide range of colours, which has to help!

Don't think she'll suit purple. They had gold for the Tango, so perhaps they've been holding the red back for the paso. Lets hope so! She's looking so good at the moment.

I love red or black for the Tango, but didn't Camilla wear a horrible red number for her Paso wih Ray last year?

so far she's worn:

dark maroony red
lime green
dark orange
hot pink
pale yellow
peach
white and gold
gold
silver

and we know her VW dress is baby pink

so a real hot red is due...

It was red, but I only ever saw it on Youtube as I wasn't in the country for last year's Strictly, and so I can't tell how horrible (or indeed lovely) it was.

It's as much about the fabric though, that lot of stitchers are clueless!

do you really think the stichers of the dressers are clueless Peach??? I make these dresses from time to time and they take ages - Chrisanne turn out alot of dresses each week and overall I think they do a good job from what Ive seen the fabric they have used is what is used for all comp dresses today

I don't think they make them every week. I know last year when Gabby had to pull out at the last minute they had made all her dresses already.

I appreciate that it must be a huge job getting it right for not only pro dances who are in very good shape but also for non dancer celebs who come in all shapes and sizes, plus they have so many different dance styles to deal with but i can only go on what i see and it's a personal point of view, they don't always do a good job. Last year for instance poor Loiusa was swamped by those outfits that looked as though they'd been made for someone else and this season their choices haven't been much better for some people, take Letitia, she's a gorgeous woman who's been made to look dowdy. Actually some of it's more about actual styling than make but even Alesha's Tango dress, that i thought at first wasn't too bad, the more i watch it though the more i think,' bad choice of fabric and bad stitching', check the seams on that thing, it's really distracting.

Also have a look at some of the Ballroom dresses on DWTS (yes some a terrible) they make ours look horribly 'old fashioned'

See your point Peach they have got some of the dresses wrong. But on the whole they do well. think exactly the opposite re DWTS I feel theirs are old fashioned and in the style I was making a couple of years ago

Maybe it's just a personal thing then, i just like some of the dresses that Julianne wore, much less fabric than we've seen on strictly, like Camilla's waltz dress which was lovely.

And what about those floaty things on their arms, is that usual Bendymixer?

I'm sick of the sight of those this year, there's been total overkill on them.

They'll be putting them on the blokes next, you mark my words....

The conversations i heard on ITT re the VW dress sounded gorgeous. I was a little disappointed with the actual dress last night.
