I am looking for a budget 26" TV to go into my bedroom. It will be hooked up to BT Vision and a Playstation 3.

I would like your opinion on which one of this TVs is best. They are all around the £300 mark.

1. PHILIPS 26PF5321
(http://www.pcworld.co.uk/product.php?sku=655730)

2. Cyberdyne TM-26751D
(http://www.digitaldirect.co.uk/produ...oduct_id=13324)

3. POLAROID FLU-2632
(http://www.currys.co.uk/product.php?sku=074880)

Many thanks!

Dont bother with any. just save a little longer. It'll be worth the wait.

Carefree cook, is spot on save a bit longer and keep hunting for a good deal, the Philips is one of the worst brand make LCD's I have ever seen, honestly!!

the 42 philips my parents got is pretty poor- no auto aspect ratio switching, cumbersome side connectons, poor picture quality - but my parents ignored me when i talked about viewing distances (ten times the picture height etcc) they just when for big!!!

if im spending £800 on a tv, i want to know it has a auto aspect ratio switching feature! i cant stand stretched 4x3 images.

from past crt experience - toshiba tvs are very good - once i can afford a ps3 ill prob buy a toshiba 32 hd tv -

I'm currently looking into the same subject but have a little (not much) more to spend, and for not much more than your apparent £300 budget there's plenty of good quality sets to chose from.

Id suggest having a look at the Sharp LC26AD5E which can be got online for about £350, it seems to get very good comments on Reevoo and Amazon, and those that have bought it on AVForums also seem to rate it highly, so is the one Im going for.

There's also a Toshiba (26C3030DB) around the same price range which looks good on paper and the range as a whole gets generally good reviews although Ive found little comments (positive or negative) about it online. As well as those Ive also seen other brand names like Hitachi in the sub £350 price range, and even the likes of the low end (although not necessarily highly rated) Sonys etc for £20-30 extra.
