Firstly this is the not Matt's first bad night. Secondly, Matt, at this point hasn't nailed any of the two dances so if he's in bottom two with any other couples, then good luck Matt.

I've nothing against him nor dislike him, but this is the fact. They couldn't get one right, let alone two. So I think Matt will struggle. The only way he can get away with it is not in the dance off. I hope they are practising it now but Samba is not an easy dance at this stage.

Matt D should go because he messed up to the extent that both dances were pretty much lost. He was lost because he was human, but a very human reaction by the public could save him!

Are people really that stupid? If Matt can't hack it now, how is he going to cope in the semis? I think all of the other three deserve to stay and I've been saying that Letitia should go all week.

Two top dances tonight for me, Alesha's AS and Gethin's Jive, both fantastic. I feel sorry for Matt but I have a feeling all is not well between him and Flavia, maybe I am wrong, but he really did lose it tonight... it will be interesting to see who will be in the dance off and who the judges will save.

It is Matt's first bad night, his scores have never been this low.

Obviously you think it's such a crime to have difficulty coping with two dances. I've heard all the pros say that it's very hard, but whatever, let's not cut Matt any slack, shall we?

I think it should be a rule that the Paso has to be danced to authentic music, it just doesn't work without it. The only one I think of that worked was Louisa & Vincent's last year.

I agree with you generally (for all the dances), but it can work sometimes, really loved Emma and Darren's bond Paso last year too.

Alesha didn't do an American Smooth. She did the Viennese Waltz.

Well stupid may be a bit harsh! but past results would tell us that people seem to vote with their hearts rather than their heads quite often (to put it nicely!) - actually we see the judges do it too sometimes.... Especially by this stage as people will have become 'attached' to certain celebs or couples and through loyalty will stick with them no matter what, or on the flipside will not be keen on a celeb/couple no matter what and never vote for them even if they are maybe deserved of a vote.

Waltz: Nice enough. That's all I can think of saying. Not especially memorable, lol.
Jive: I really liked it. Feel good factor.

Matt & Flavia
Foxtrot: Loved the music & idea of the routine. I felt so bad for him when he lost it - he just seemed to give up, and then he was so close to tears.
Samba: You could see the effort he put into the performance, and he had a good rhythm.
Overmarked by Len & Bruno on both dances.

Bottom 2 should be Matt & Letitia. Tough call on who should go. Matt arguably has more potential for *wow* performances, but he is so inconsistent and needs to somehow conquer the nerves - whereas, Letitia did 2 decent but not exceptional dances. I'd be inclined to say Letitia should go, as with Matt there is always the chance that he'll pull something amazing out the bag.

Alesha could find herself in trouble, which bothers me because I think she's been consistently great and I think she's being penalised for it and for not having a journey. I love watching her dance, and really look forward to her every week.

This is the first year where I've actually liked all the final 4 though.”

Agree with every word of this.

I do wonder whether Matt has had the stomach bug that Letitia had last week - The Sun in almost-accuracy shocker! He was so off tonight it was unpleasant to watch.

she does panto in newcastle most christmas' so i think that could be one reason

Although i did read an interview with her once saying she had no plans on dancing again on scd. not even on any of the christmas specials etc..
