Tonight Alisha (or was it Gethin) danced their first dance to a song that went 'Midnight.... has the moon lost its magic?' or something like that. My OH and I are going in circles trying to figure out the name/original artist of that song. I've tried Google for 'midnight magic lyrics' but didn't find it. Does anyone know the song I'm talking about? Please put us out of our misery......

I was at the opening night of Cats many years ago, with Wayne Sleep and Elaine Page. I loved that song as soon as I heard Elaine sing it, it just stood out. Beautiful.

Yes. the songs are sung live.... at least that's my understanding. They always point to the orchestra and say thanks, etc.

I agree. the SCD singer really slaughtered it tonight, but I do love the song as sung by the original artist.
