Was Len genuinely upset tonight?

I'm not sure whether Len is genuinely upset, I can't care less about how he feels. One thing I'm certain is Len is hopeless and I have absolutely no respect for him. I hope BBC can get rid of him, let him stay in America, if they still want him there. He's so biased, unprofessional and unfair, nothing like what he claimed to be.

I agree. A '10' should be reserved for something very special and they are being dished out like smarties.

I notice that too and wondered it it has anything to do with the show being into the 4th or 5th (?) series now and people need to get excited to keep watching and expect 10's at this stage?

In other words: are the 10's crowd pleasers rather than a sign of (near) perfection?

I actually agree with him too!

He quite rightly that Craig seems to take great delight in pointing out stupid things to criticise (Like Kenny's right thumb last week and Matt's hands and Letitia's left shoulder this week) and very very rarely makes a positive comment after he's had his silly point!

Len DOES point out errors, and saves his criticism for something constructive - but then offers advice for correcting the problem.

That said most of the time I agree with Craig's marks - but I do wish he'd engage his brain before opening his mouth sometimes - his comments are unnecessarily harsh sometimes.

In a way, yes. But as I said last week, I feel they're being used to cover up the generally poorer quality of the dances than we're used to from previous series.

Does graig have a fretish about hand, because he always seem to talk about peoples hands?

Graig? Who's Graig?

I think Craig needs to use his hands more. He's always soooooooooooo uptight.

The US show rests on Len rowing with Bruno and it was getting twice the BBC audience which is good for any US show. Len seems to think it works and he needs to create rows now in the UK show too.

His marks no longer have any basis in fact -at best they are fixed in advance so the overall total is about right.

Personally, I feel that Len is trying to buy the hearts of the celebs and he has succeeded BUT if you look closely when comments are made, all the celebs breath a sigh of relief everytime Arlene and Craig say positive things about their dances...

So Len can bark all he wants!

Can anybody replay the VCR? I thought Brucie said something like "Don't leave?" to Len. Was Len when he could not shout down Craig, on the verge of standing up and walking off?

RockyHorrorRose will tell us later what she actually saw.

Mark and Colin are my all-time favourite, and Alesha this year.

I believe Alesha deserved the 10s she got tonight and imo should have had the full score for her VW.

Mark won deservedly. Colin was much much better than Darren.

Craig is my fav judge by a country mile. I also quite like Arlene and she dealt with poor Matt superbly tonight. Craig tends to start off talking about the negative and ends with a positive..... ie "Crap hands, legs too floppy but can't fault your performance etc"...Arlene is similar... which is one of the reasons why I hate it when Bruno and Len interrupt.

I really don't know what's up with Len this series....maybe jet lag, DWTS marking overload, head judge thing getting to him - but whatever it is, I'm finding him tedious this series.

I want to hear ALL of the judges opinions and I'm incredibly fed up with the stupid interruptions. I'm pretty sure I can manage to decide for myself whether the comments are too harsh or not.

Brucie said something like "Don't do an Osbourne..." to Len.

Colin was my favourite for that series too. Darren and his "I'm just a simple rugby player" routine became boring very quickly. Colin had pzazz, imo, and he was just a simple sportsman too...

Do you really think so? Alesha for one knows perfectly well that some of his scores are not justified. If I were there, I'd be paying attention to Arlene and Craig more than the others.

Which makes me wonder why he is still head judge. As someone said before, both the celebs AND professionals wait for Craig and Arlene to say something and 'yes' when they do.

Colin was the best in my opinion!
He was good at both latin and ballroom!
I reckon he should have won!

I think Len's comments are kind and fair - his scores....EIGHT for Matt? He only gave Alesha a Nine for one of her dances....was Alesha only ONE better then Matt, who forgot most of his routine??

implying Sharon Osborne walked off X Factor judging? XF fans will have to help us out. It looked touch and go to me. Len himself said, "I am here to judge", so why was Craig not allowed to judge?

Len said Craig was all negative without one word of positive encouragement in a crisis. How did Len know? Craig had not finished, he barely started speaking.

When two of Sharon's three acts landed in the bottom two and went into the sing-off, she walked off set and said she'd quit. She came back later on.

There's been a lot of talk about getting Brucie off the show, but if I had to pick just one it'd be Len. What utter rubbish that man talks and his scores are non-sensical. An 8 for Matt?

Was Len genuinely upset tonight? Probably not, more a drama queen IMHO

I didn't agree with his 8 for Matt. I try and guess the scores before they are announced and had 6 6 7 7 but I think it evened out with the 4 and the 8 I think that Len over marks quite often.

As Matt only did 1/2 a dance does that mean that Len should have only goven him 1/2 a mark and should have scored 4 too?

Len does not like to be crossed, by Brendan or Kelly or Craig or Arlene or Bruno. Or Claudia. When crossed he will without deliberation do the opposite of whatever his opponent does, regardless of fairness or consequences.

God help us if Len is a High Court judge.
