Im not being rude, you are, im just giving my opinion and that was it, I love Matt he's my favourite pro male, but he is very camp especially in the "strong male" type dances, people are aloud to have differnt opinions, I just have gone off M & A a bit, but wouldn't be disappointed if they won

I like Alesha, but im not really bothered whether her or Gethin wins. (Admitedly, ill be happier to see Camilla win than Gethin if thats the scenario)

Have you watched any of the pro pasos, irishmikee? Matthew certainly isn't camp in them - check out the series 3 one.

(If you still think he's camp in that then fine, but I couldn't think of a less appropriate word for Matthew on the dancefloor doing paso *wry grin*)

My view entirely. I think they're both brilliant, and I'm praying for an Alesha/Gethin final. My sentimental favourite might be Gethin, but if Alesha wins I'll still be chuffed to bits for her and very proud of Gethin, too.

Not all Gethin's fans have to knock Alesha down to appreciate him! Just like there are plenty of Alesha fans who have been downright lovely on Gethin's thread in the last week - coming in to say hi, plainly telling the Gethin fans that Alesha was their favourite, but that they still appreciated him, too. I thought that was great of them to say. And it's mutual. I think Alesha's a very classy, beautiful, funny lady and an amazing dancer - preferring Gethin doesn't stop me thinking any of that about her.

I guess what I'm trying to say in a very long-winded way is: I really don't see the point of this thread other than to wind up Alesha's fans and cause arguments. Why post it?

Alesha is my favourite and i hope she wins.

She seems to generally enjoy what she is doing and Matt and her always look like they are having fun and dance brilliantly every week. Occasionally she has been slightly overmarked but even she admits that when no other celeb would.

I think Matt is great in the Paso especially when he does the Paso with his fellow Pros!!

If she doesn't win then i hope Gethin does after tonight!!

Yes I think that Alesha, at least deserves to get to the final; and more importantly so does my Mum. They are the two, I think, that deserve a place in the final.

My resolve is only getting stronger. Alesha has to win this competition - every week she has danced well, and every week Matthew pushes her further with his choreography.
Gethin has had a late breakthrough, and its good to see, but even with this he hasn't reached the level that Alesha is performing at.
If you don't go 'wow' at her performances each week then you're missing something.

No problem, I'm a little/very drunk too. So anyway, I think Alesha is brilliant, and so does my Mum (who I watched this weeks show with). She agrees, as do I, that Alesha and Gethin are the best. She also said, that unfortunately, a man will win, with the male bias in the voting.

I do feel differently towards Alesha and I started to after her Cha Cha Cha. It is not her fault its entirely the judges fault. I remember watching the dance and thinking this is great good on her, but it was just not worth 3 10s. Surely a 10 includes technique and performance? Her technique was lacking, many professionals, judges etc have said so. So why 10?

Yes others have been over marked but I feel more strongly about it when it comes to 10s and with Alesha she has been given far too many in my opinion. I really like her but I feel the bandying around of 10s is spoiling her chances and making me think she could roll around on the floor and still get 10s.

To answer the OP's question...no, why would I?

Consistently impressive performances; steady progression and difficult choreography...way moreso than anything Gethin has danced. What part of that should make me disappointed?

Do I like the other competitors too? Yes - they are all pleasant and I've no interest in anyone or anything trying to make pantomime villians out of any of them.

I wouldn't say I've gone off her as she was never my fave to begin with. However, I think she's reached a plateau. She started off as the one to beat and and was streets ahead of most of the contestants but, now the others seem to have caught up with her. Gethin in particular has shown the most improvement and definitely seems more enthusiastic than her. It's not a criticism of Ailisha but, just my own observation.

Both Alesha & Gethin should be in the final.

Alesha because she has been consistently excellent & Gethin because of his vast improvement throughout the series.

My Mum is brilliant (obviously to me, she is amazing, but she has no sway in the professional dancing sense). Anyway she thinks that Gethin may win, because of the female sway in voting, I think Alesha will win because overall she is the best.

Certainly not this lady or her hubby, or anyone I know for that matter.

I love this post -purely because it shows that someone can be a fan of one contestant without having to constantly slate & criticise every little thing about the other contestants.

I am completely supporting Alesha but I don't think i'd be angry if the remaining contestants won -they all have done some great performances.
