me too - I still find Gethin's dancing bland and Matt has been so inconsistent

I look forward to their dances because I like Flavia's choreography, but I've had to look through my fingers tonight!

god I'm glad someone's still up -waiting for the Ricky Hatton fight to start!!

Pardon? A bit wet?

He is the least wet person I have ever known. He is more like Action Man - fighting alligators in America, flying with the Red Arrows (he is a qualified pilot), doing the Cresta Run, and he is the fastest civilian to yomp 30 miles with the Marines!

I presume you were joking.

“because he was bad/not good before”

He was good - what about his Viennese Waltz? It had the highest mark of any series (along with others) until Alesha's yesterday. And his other dances were not at all bad. He has never been bottom of the leader board.

You left out the words "In my opinion"!

So have not gone off him. He's fab. And my two year old now mirrors his every dance move, even flinging herself on the floor at the end of the jive last night.

Yes this is everyone's opinion. Perhaps the "negative" posters are pleased that they can come out of hiding and say they dont like him without being jumped on. Its like a breath of fresh air being able to say that you dont like a hot favourite for whatever reason. I;ve never warmed to him, and I find I;m doing something else when he's on and I dont like Camilla either. Maybe its my imagination but I'm finding them rather smug.
I'm also going to go one step further and dare I say it, I really didnt like Mark and Karen last year. Really sorry but I didnt.
Its like a lot of people didnt like Zoe or Gabby despite the fact that they were good dancers.

I didn't either
Have to say that I didn't mind Mark so much. But Karen's desperation to win was embarrassing.
She also pulls ridiculous faces when she dances. I know most of them do, but hers annoyed me the most lol

His persona and dances just never excite mesorry.
I think he has been overmarked in the last couple of weeks, solely because of that supposed 'actor's trainer' that came in and (apparently) helped the man to create characterfor the dance. His style of dancing just is very plain; that's boring to me and not what dancing should be about:sleep:

I don't dislike them, but they've been my "least favourite" couple since week 6 and that hasn't changed. I actually wish they were my favourites as it'll make the next 2 weeks much easier, but that's 100% never going to happen.

I think he's being overmarked (especially this week) but that seems to be the general trend this series.

He was never my favourite to begin with so difficult to go off him. I was pleased to see him do so well last week, but do think he is now over-hyped, and this week very definitely overmarked!

He could have been better, but he can perform very well under pressure, which is a huge plus. BTW I really loved Brucie's underwear joke at the beginning

That was very funny!!

Yes, one thing I'll give Gethin is that he's coped best with the move to two dances, and the pressure of the approaching finals. Commendable.

And from the look of it in those tight trousers for the jive he could well be a contender for Rear of the Year!

Shallow? Moi?

I'm another who was never 'on' him. He reminds me of Darren Gough, and I was not a fan of his, either.

Well said- and I am a Mark and Karen fan but I don't have to agree with you on everything! The smugness last night was overpowering and as I have said elsewhere they are marking him to win, he is not expected to be perfect, and he is not melting down in front of the world so he is just preparing his winners speech!

Another one who agrees here.

Gethin's okaaaaay, but it makes more than OK to excite me, and his marks for the AS were ridiculous as were the comments by the judges. I went back to Colin Jackson's AS on YouTube to compare because Colin's was one that blew me away. Strangely it did not receive such a high mark.

how could anyone find them smug, bit of the green eyed monster as he is really good.

Gethin's yer typical 'journey' taker so wanted by these shows. That's what i find irritating. Theres no doubt he will win. He has the momentum and excitement created by the gushing audience and judges all coming to a head at the right time. Oh Yeah, and he's a lil ol cutie pie aswell which helps with the middle aged housewives.

i never got where the Judges were coming from about Gethins rumba. i thought it was lovely, and would love to see him do it now. I have to say though, I am middle aged, but have a fulltime job as well as the Housework

i never liked him that much in the first place, i just don't think he dances as well as he is marked. For example i thought his jive was amazingly stiff.

however I am probably biased because I seem to be the only female who doesn't find him attractive in the slightest! I'm sorry, don't eat me it's only my opinion, but he does seem a bit boring and a little wet......maybe it's the kids tv presenter thing!
