Ireally felt for him last night; we all have days (or weeks, or months or ...) when nothing goes right but thankfully the majority of us don't have it happen on national television. He looked utterly mortified and demoralised.

I don't have a favourite this year and think that the right 3 couples are in the semit final, but I can't find it in myself to "go off" someone who is so obviously struggling with their self belief even when the sheer exuberance of youth has been bouying them so far.

I agree.
Matt could not even speak afterwards. He was really suffering emotionally.
I hope that he gets it together next week for the sake of his own confidence - and he should believe in himself.
He is gorgeous and talented and has a great sense of humour.

No I have not gone off Matt - never been on him - felt sorry for him last night but have never really liked his dancing! Gethin rocks my boat!

I totally agree with you - I felt it made very uncomfortable viewing esp when he held his head down as Craig and Len argued

I've not "gone off" him, but he's my least favourite of those who are left. If he manages to overcome his nerves and get back on form then he has every right to be a potential winner but he was out-danced by everyone last night. The fact he totally gave up halfway through his Foxtrot really irked me- he should have at least tried... It's a shame because he had so much potential. But as it stands I think the others deserve to be there more than he does. If he's in the semis he better pull his socks up.

But I'm sure he didn't mean to give up-it just happened. He's young and vulnerable and just wants to do well.

I will always support him

I've not gone off him on a personal level, but at the moment I don't feel I can vote for his dancing. (I know the problem is nerves, but at this stage he has to do better.)

He was never my favourite, but I like him less now than I did at the start. A few weeks ago I probably would have said he was my second favourite after Alesha, but he's gone downhill since then, and I didn't like how he just gave up during the foxtrot. Fair enough he made a mistake, but others have done that and kept going. I think my second favourite is Gethin now, despite being partnered with Camilla.
