Judges are hyprocrites

They have been tonight saying they hoped matt was there for the finale saying he hs a good character and should be there next week.
Tonight Letita scored higher than him buty yet they made out he really should be in the semi final.
When Kate was in they said you should vote for the dancing not the person who is dancing, Not a mention of that tonight was there.
Lot of them HYPOCRITES.

I don't see how that makes them hypocrites.

I'm not a fan of Letitia (although I like her personality) or Matt and would prefer to see an Alesha/Gethin final, but I would prefer Matt to stay in over Letitia. IMO she has never performed a stand-out dance, just keeping her head above water, whereas I loved Matt's salsa a couple of weeks ago. Letitia's ballroom is OK, but doesn't exactly bowl me over. Her jive last night was shocking.

There is a good possibility that Matt could pull another exciting performance out of the hat if he can get over his nerves, whereas there is no evidence that Letitia is capable of a great dance.

I thought Arelene expressed the situation best.
She was not the only one whose heart went out to Matt. He has embraced the competition and he had a disaster with his nerves - dilemma for the judges. I often disagree with what they say, but I thought you could feel their disappointment for what could have been 2 fabulous dances. I found it harsh of Craig to turn the knife when the problem was obvious and Matt was already feeling so bad. Matt has talent and if he could only conquer the nerves, he could be a *10* again- I hope that he and Flavia get another chance

I can see why they would rather give another chance to Matt (although I'm not convinced that he deserves it) than rally behind Letitia; I'd rather watch a good dance from Matt instead of any dance from Letitia. It's not really fair, but Matt can do amazing things when he can conquer his nerves (I am worried about him though - next week will be his last chance and he knows it, so the pressure will be even worse).

But this all comes back again to what the dance-off is supposed to be about! Are the judges judging performance or potential?

I am also not Letitia's biggest fan but there is no doubt that she is consistent and has improved tremendously over the weeks - she looks like a different woman. She is over 20 years older than Matt which makes it much more difficult for her to learn a new skill. Why should she lose out in a dance off against Matt who has now mucked up seriously over two weeks?

Sadly I suspect that the dance off will be Letitia and Alesha and then there is no way that the judges can keep Tish in. Overall I have to say that the judges having the final say in the dance off and the delay until Sunday evening have ruined the series for me and I strongly doubt if I will watch next year. Typical BBC - they have a surefire ratings winner and they over milk it and everyone drifts away.

At this stage, the judges shouldn't be looking at potential. Fine, at the start of the competition, with eight weeks and diferent dances to go. But two weeks from the final, potential should have been realised. If Matt is in the bottom two, he should go. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but he obviously has trouble with two dances, work and the stories about his private life. Imagine if he got to the final and had to learn five dances, like last year . Both his physical and mental stamina would let him down and make the final a pointless exercise.
