what are the remaining dances left for each of them to do, the only one i can figure out is that gethin is doing the paso.

How do you know ?
I think Alesha has not been amazing for at least the last 2 weeks , and any overmarking next week will ensure she is not the one through by the vote and will be dancing off .

I agree but you're gonna be attacked for daring to have an honest opinion.
Will be interesting to see how they all do.
I think it could be a struggle for all them this week. Matt and Flavia should have the advantage as they are doing two dances she's proven shes amazing at but the nerves might get the better of him again.

to be fair shes not the only one that was overmarked. They all were bar Letitia last night IMHO.
I know the overmarking is doing alesha no favours but the leaderboard was right last night so really it shouldnt matter.
If the judges decide next week, than does it matter what Matt does, he will be the one out as I think him and Alesha will be in the dance off, why cant the judges just leave the semi final to the public to decide, it is only fair that the public get the dancers they want in the final

yep i want the public to decide. And i hope they pick the two that dance best on the night.. although that aint gonna happen.
Pity poor matt will miss out because of judges, if this format was in last year then Matt Dawson would have missed out. And while i was not a lover of his, he deserve to be there dancing his beautiful waltz.

Agree the public should decide and pick the best dancers but look at previous years, Aled and Louisa missed out, Louisa should have been in the final in IMO, she had the best dancers that series

how do you know its going to be Matt?
If he tops the leaderboard next week which he might as his At is probably going to be a wow dance then all he needs to do is come at least second in the public vote and he is the one who will make the finale.
And it'll be a toss up between the other 2.
I really think its hard to tell who will do best next week.

Only reason though it maybe matt and alesha in bottom two is Gethin is the only person so far in competition who has not gone down and going by previous years the winner has never been in the bottom two.

But say it works like this:
Matt tops leaderboard 3 marks comes second in public vote = 2marks . That would give him 5 points.
Alesha second in leaderboard comes last in public vote that gives her 3 points
Gethin bottom of leaderboard 1 mark and top of public vote 3 marks. that gives him 4 points.
So even though Gethin had the most public votes it would still be Matt who went through.
I dont want this to be the outcome as i think Matts had too many narrow escapes but it could happen....

Completely agree. I hated the finale last year ok it was partly because my favourite couple werent there but also because a) it was soo predictable and b) Mark and Matt both looked physically exhausted. c) i was sick of the sight of them all after 5 dances.
Its so much more exciting having three of them there with less dances but then we also get 3 showdances!
Well I think she is great and deserves to win .
But they haven't been great and I think they knew it . Their paso was dull beyond for such a fab couple and she makes too many mistakes which are totally ignored . But then Gethin has also been vastly overmarked the last 2 weeks and the jive was worth 32 max .
I don't go with all this pressure business about being favourites and wanting perfection , Alesha has to have a wow week next week and unfortnately according to the judges she has had wow weeks almost every week and Gethin is on a wow roll .
Where is the cynic smiley when needed ?
Matt has great dances next week and though I think he should be the one going home tonight , if he doesn't he may well take the public vote again if he messes up ( or even not but is sensibly marked ) and if Gethin and Alesha are overmarked they can both look out .
Any one could go tonight , any one , except maybe Letitia, can win .

Exacly expecting people to do five dances was stupid, and also three showdances would be so much more fun, really wanted to see Louisa there last year, think her and vincent's show dance would have been fab, and if there had always been two, the world would have never got to see Ian and Zoe's showdancem, the best ever IMO
Definitely wish it there was three in final as it got a tad boring with two couples doing so much dancing.

Agree Crazy overmarking this series, At next week and I bet the ten's will roll out even though the routines will not be half as good as Maren's At
