  • I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!
Why Biggins and not Janice?

All became clear when I read an article about Biggins' bankruptcy and the way he was able to support his lavish lifestyle through 'the kindness of friends'. The pay off for the celebs was obviously to be name dropped by him on the show incessantly.

It was also presumably in their interests to support his winning, so that their bank balances would improve over time!

Janice on the other hand is successful in her own right and presumably was just looking for some UK coverage.

Strikes me there was a lot of self interest going on here!

I was amazed that he actually borrowed £50,000 off a friend but still hasn't paid it back several years later!!

No sooner had he got back to England from Australia than he was lauding it at The Ivy and receiving rapturous applause.

The guy hasn't conquered Everest or circumnavigated the globe for goodness sake! He just took part in a show and was paid handsomely for so doing!!

They were all doing it for self-interest, why else would the "luvvies" put themselves through such hardship? All of them did it for money plus upping their profiles.
Janice allegedly is hoping for some sort of show over here & producers wanted to see how the BP would stomach her "brashness". (Imo she genuinely did it for her AIDS charity as well).
Biggins obviously is hoping for some sort of TV work too; at least interviews & selling his story to the papers to pay off his debts.
Gemma wanted to get more mag work & promote her new singing career!
I think Kate was hoping to get some TV work too - I think she'd make quite a good presenter actually.
Jason obviously wants to get back into the music biz imo.
Anna will prob get a contract with DFS/Curry's or someone (like her mate Linda) & it probably got publicity for her zoo.
John will open a new restaurant with his mistress & try for a new reality show regarding that .
Rod was prob hoping for TV sports presenting work but if nothing else could get some ad's.
& Marc/Cery's - well we all can guess what they were up to .
Lynn I have no idea what she was playing at, if she wanted publicity for her "retreats" she certainly got it but whether it would make women want to go? Maybe she was hoping to break through into TV too but I'd say it's made her advertising poison now.

When I said self interest, I meant all the luvvies who came out of the woodwork to support Biggins, presumably had had enough of supporting his lavish lifestyle and were giving him a leg up to independence before he bankrupted them all!

My appologies I misunderstood.
