Warning: BBC board spoilers
Wiz Net
09-12-2007
I know a lot of people on here also view, visit or post on the BBC Board. The Board was hijacked by Trolls this morning and a large number of people saw the results.

People are still (in many cases inadvertently) discussing the results on all sorts of threads.

If you don't want to know the results I suggest you don't visit until after the show.

And I bet that person will be complaining when he gets banned or threads removed ......

Anyway, a useful post, thanks.

They're all over this board too (spoilers, not trolls!)

But at least (as far as I have seen) the threads are clearly marked as containing spoilers, and everyone seems to be behaving themselves by respecting that.

Easy answer

delay going on any forum until the Sunday show is over.

Simple enough thing to do - when Formula One has some early races - I avoid the Net and the News channels so as not to learn of the result.

Its really easy to do on a Sunday......

Hmm, not quite so, but doesn't sound like it's as bad as the BBC forum.

I went over there earlier this afternoon and saw that someone had used the spoiler as their user name
How could the mods on the BBC boards let that happen? Don't they check the user names?

I already knew the result after checking the spoiler thread on here, but it must have ruined it for so many people.

The Daily mail ruined it for me

Yes, I learned my lesson after Week 2.

Lots of people were giving away the results on Facebook - "X is... please that Kate and Anton are still in" etc etc.

I stay away now.

I must have been lucky not to have stumbled across anything then.

The spoilers are essential (if they are accurate) - saves having to watch the Sunday night show

Der Chef says

Anybody remember the "Likely Lads" episode circa 1973 when they tried everything to not hear the England football result including Going to Church and Giving Blood

Yeah! That Likely Lads episode was classic. Does anyone remember Ant and Dec's "remake" of it a few years ago? One of the worst TV programmes ever....

Well said, that man.

Scrap the results show.
