Nokia 6300 USB cable
I have just bought a Nokia 6300, and while I am happy with the phone itself, I was a little disappointed that it didn't come with a USB cable supplied. My previous phone, a Sony Ericsson had a cable in the box.
What kind of USB cable do I need? I want to be able to transfer files to my phone such as ringtones. Cheers. |

Transfers are MUCH quicker than over USB, plus its easier to organize the files and also quicker here aswell than using the PC Suite. If you still need a USB cable, any USB will NOT do. You need one with a little end on the one side, like a digital camera's usb cable (which is what im using). When you go shop for one, obviously match the head of one to your phones USB connection. |

it is quicker with a card reader, but because its a micro card they can be fiddly to get in and out plus you have to remove the back cover on the 6300, it might just be easier using a usb cable.

SWMBO and I both upgraded to 6300s in March this year, mine with Orange and hers with Vodafone. Both of us got a USB cable with our phones - has this changed then?
BTW got a 6500 classic at work a week ago and that came with a USB cable as well! LCDMAN...................Likes the 6300 a lot! |
