Hi guys,

More used to posting on the Sky + forums but I am hoping one of you can answer this.

Somehow my dad has managed to alter a setting on either the Sony tv, Sony video or DVD recorder that he has. Which now means that he constantly gets the AV channel indicator showing on the tv screen when he is watching either a video or dvd that he has recorded.

Any ideas what he has pressed by mistake?

I am guessing something on the remote.

Ok, I think he has pressed a button on the TV remote called the AV indicator - it looks like a little square with an arrow head against it.

Press this again and the on screen graphic should disappear.

He's pressed the info button on the Tv remote.
The one that has a tv screen with an i and a plus(+) in it.
Check out page 8 of this manual.
Its the button,directly under the mute button.
