Wall mounting a 32" Panasonic 32LXD70 LCD with tiny screws!!!
Hi - I am wall mounting my 32" panny LCD (32LXD70) on a fairly large tilt and swivel wall bracket just like this one
http://www.biginbrackets.com/content...109bsilver.jpg Having gone to the huge task of making sure this mount is fully secure to the wall, I then started attaching the tiny little 20mm screws through the cantilever arm and into the back of the TV (the 4 screw points shown below). I simply cannot believe that these tiny screws will hold the TV up especially as only about 10mm of thread (at most) is actually screwed in. Am I missing something? Should there be some sort of adapter (longer screws) or should the bracket hook underneath the TV itself? http://img205.imageshack.us/img205/5513/tvrt3.jpg |
