"FIX" factor?
Who thinks this years show has been rigged in favour of Same difference ESPECIALLY as the winner's song is best sung as a duet?

I love SD, but I am not sure their brand of happy-cheese could ever be fixed to win.
They got to the finals, IMO, because people could see they are genuine people who do work hard. They have coped with some very complicated dance routines and made it all look effortless. They deserve their success so far and I hope they carry on to have a good career, but I am sure no-one could have imagined that they would make the semis, let alone the final! |

I don't agree. Cowell put them through as cannon fodder to keep FP and Hope in as long as possible and the judges have never really bigged them up the way they do with Rhydian/Leon/Hope/Niki/Beverley/Pretty much everyone else.

The thing is, there has to be a motive. Why on earth would Simon Cowell rig the show for Same Difference to win? In terms of making Simon Cowell money (which, let's face it, is the primary motivating factor here) they are not an obvious choice at all. They will be very challenging to market, although I think that with the right people and a bit of imagination behind them they could do well. On the face of it, Hope would have been easier to promote, which is probably why Simon was pushing them so heavily in the early stages, until he realised that the public would never warm to them.

Have you heard the winners song? It's a duet between Mariah and Whitney. 2 female belters. How is this in any way biased toward Same Difference?

And let's not forget that Cowell is the man who got Zig and Zag to near the top spot. |

ITV will be too cautious about rigging following their phone voting scandal, though the judges and producers are certainly doing their best to influence voting.

Nothing is "fixed" in that sense of the word , but if you honestly believe that the winner is decided without any manipulation at all then you seriously need a reality check.
