As advised by A-Fiend

Morning All

First post so please be gentle

Just to pick your brains

I have a Samsung LE32R41BX

It will not switch on any more, it just clicks and clicks

Has any one had any such problems,

The burning question is where would be able to repair such a kiddy without mega expence as a new one you can get for under £500 now

Is it worth spending money on ?

I have connected to it the following

1 pc
1 ky box
I DVD hard drive
Wii
Amp

I have the like for like 26" version which works fine with every thing

It did used to be left on 24/7 and just in stnadby on the pc with the windows logo flashing

This leads me to believe it is either the power in or the component in board ?

Thans in advance

I'd start with locating your nearest Samsung TV service centre. If you visit their UK website you can locate your nearest one. Then give them a call.

Failing that, open up your yellow pages and find your nearest TV repair shop and call them. They'll charge you a small fee (£25-£40) to locate the fault and to give you a price on the repair.

I had a very similar problem with my philips LCD, turned out to be a faulty on/off switch in the end, I couldnt tell you about repair prices as it was still under warranty at the time but it may not be as expensive as you think.

Not as easy as it sounds, LCD's are far more difficult to repair than CRT sets, and the manufacturers will only supply spares and information to authorised LCD service agents. Only a tiny percentage of Samsung service agents will be authorised, others will be in the dark as much as a non-Samsung agent.

But as suggested, Samsung will be able to advise you where your nearest one is.
