Channel 456 - The Vault.

Classic music videos with no DOG and annoying text rubbish.
Currently playing Guns n Roses - Sweet Child Of Mine.

I was watching this last night, and MTV and Emap should take note.

Its amazing seeing a music video with no "JUSTIN WEEK" or other crap on screen.

Yeah as i said in the other thread i love this channel, i also have to give a big up to Chartshow.tv as they are also fantastic.

Isnt it weird that i pay 30 odd quid for a sky subscription and the two best music channels are FTA.

Im sure i will be able to add Rapture to that list by the end of next month also

Does anyone have any news on chart show's new channel that they going to launch soon.

The Vault is the new channel.

Instead of being on 3-6am and sharing capacity with ChartShow TV, it will share with the cartoon and music kids channel POP (was Tunes and Toons?) and start at 8pm.

I might be wrong about this.

It's all about opinions but I would hardly call it the best music channel when it is only on for limited hours. Personally I enjoy MTV Hits as it plays all the new up to date stuff and no I am not a teeny bopper, I'm in my 30's.

What I like about it is:-

1) No Screen Junk (I could live with a dog though if they choose to add one in the future)
2) Simple song titles that don't obscure anything.
3) Very wide range of music
4) It hasn't just copied VH1 Classic/Magic like it could of done - Its actually providing somthing new.

I hope Chartshow TV launch more music channels in the future, they seem to really know their music, even Pop is worth a look somtimes, you might catch the Timewarp or the Ghostbusters theme tune

Well isnt POP for kids though?

I was watching it last night too - such a change to see a range of different music, although it did seem to repeat within a few hours (saw Friends theme song one twice for example).

Other than that - bloody well done!

Hi

I am pleased tlo see that this channel has started to broadcast at a more reasonable hour than the 3am slot is used to have!!!!!

When i viewed it the other night, it seemd alright, but will it ever expand its hours more?

i doubt that The Vault will ever expand its hoursd because it uses the same bandwith as the channel POP so when POP finishes at 8:00 The Vault starts until 6:00 when POP starts again.

Well The Vault is playing some fantastic classics again tonight, lots of stuff you'd never dream of seeing on VH1 Classic and Magic.

Lets hope the viewing figures are good, then Chartshow TV might consider launching a 24 hour version of The Vault.

I have no time for any of the music channels currently broadcasting simply because they are shite - commercial rubbish, ok i suppose different people have different tastes but the one channel apart from rapture that should really suite me is MTV dance and it dosent really need to be said but its a joke. Rapture is a bit dissapointing but there is real potential if they get some new material on.

Rapture will be adding new material soon, infact they were filming in a new club in Birmingham last night so hopefully we will see the footage soon.

Have they got ads?
Also do you sky lovers think the graphics for pop are quite good now
