I have no time for any of the music channels currently broadcasting simply because they are shite - commercial rubbish, ok i suppose different people have different tastes but the one channel apart from rapture that should really suite me is MTV dance and it dosent really need to be said but its a joke. Rapture is a bit dissapointing but there is real potential if they get some new material on. ”

Well, well, another person slags off MTV Dance. All these 'dance' fans really imagine this is a popular genre and that MTV Dance should play nothing but 'house', 'trance' and 'techno'. Well, Muzik magazine stayed true to its' roots and focused on 'house', 'trance' and 'techno' and look what happened to them!

"IPC ignite! is to close its monthly dance magazine, Muzik, with effect from the August issue on sale July 9. Advertisement and copy sale revenues have declined in parallel with the decline of this sector of the Music market, to the point that the title is no longer economically viable. Sadly, nothing they could do in isolation was going to turn around this sector of the Music market."

What a load of bullsh1t marra, maybe when MTV "dance" starts playing dance music then fair enough but at the minute its somthing like 90% decent dance tracks and the rest is awful pop rubbish with hip hop and rnb chucked in to try and get the viewing vigures up!!....

.....And yes i agree they should play "trance" "techno" "house" etc because thats what dance music is, the only difference is that MTV play the most commercial out of the lot which is a load of bollox most of the time.
