I've not seen them in years and do like them as an alternative to the sweet sameness (after 3 or 4) of the big tins that are sold everywhere. Have you checked to see if they're still made?

What were the colours then?

Blue - Milk.
Red - Plain.
Orange - Orange.

Any others?

Oh I used to love them when I was wee - they were such a christmas/new year treat...then, recently (just seen above, must have been two years ago now) got a box and they were, quite frankly, sickly sweet and very disappointing...a childhood memory shattered.

They are a bit on the steep side, but thank you. I may just have to indulge myself.

Apparently not.

Instead Terrys (not real terrys anymore) have concentrated on screwing up another product - the chocolate orange - by flooding every supermarket with so many at chavvy prices (buy 4 for Ł5 in my local)

Trust a big company (Kraft in this case) to mess up an old favourite and spoil another product too.

No not the same. Kraft bought them out and managed to ruin the flavour of the choclate orange and release some additional chavvy flavours

Now I find out they have stopped making neapolitans too

No more Neopolitans - another triumph of globalisation & greddy multi-nationals. I see Cadbury's have been busy ruining their Roses and Heroes - isn't this century fantastic?

Not only did Kraft buy them out they later clsoed down the UK operation which had operated in York since 1767 and dropped the name Terrys of York after 237 years , items are now produced in Poland under the brand name Terrys.

Neaploitans were discontinued when they moved the production out of the UK.

I stopped buying Terrys as the Poles have messed about with them.

They do nasty things to catfood too. My cat stopped eating it.

Wow a thread of mine ressurected!!! I feel most smug!

Anyway, yes I would agree that Roses are not what they were. Had some the other day and the flavours are just not the same.

And dont get me started on Neopolitans again! I miss them, especially at Christmas

Its all about profit now. I still like Cadburys but no doubt if production is taken abroad the taste will go downhill like with Roses.

I always used to buy my dad Terrys Neopolitans at Christmas & we still miss them every year. Roses this year were a disgrace wont be buying them again, nor quality street.

Load of rubbish !!

No coffees, no pink ones with hard crispy bits! No barrels !! Its shocking!!
