I work for a telemarketing company called Cellutel who sell for all the major networks, I am their web developer so I put together the website and maintain it.

I have a Nokia 6300 on T-Mobile and a Blackberry 7130g on T-Mobile. Love both of the phones.

About 6 years ago I used to work in the Ericsson factory designing Production Lines to make the phones. I loved the job as we got to see the new phones through design and into production. Then Ericsson decided to move all handset production to the Far East so our factory was closed.

Incidentally, the factory was owned by Orbitel before Ericsson took it over. Orbitel were the first company to get a GSM type approved handset.

A yes... an Orbitel 902 if I remember rightly - I used to have one of those - then had the 905 - What did Ericsson rename the 905 as? I can't remember...

Ahhhh... here's a bit of nostalgia... this is an Orbitel 902...

... and I am pretty sure the 905 was the first GSM phone to have compatability with a laptop (although still using CSD)

I remember the 902 very well. It was a swine of a phone to assemble.

There was a 901, but you needed to carry a transceiver in a handbag type fashion.

By comparison the Ericsson phones were alot easier to work on.
