With all the 80s influence in music, clothes etc will the perm ever make a comeback?

If legwarmers and fingerless gloves can make a come back is the perm lingering around the corner?

I could see perms coming back (which I would love since I have curly hair anyway that I always have to straighten which is a pain). I just hope to God that the mullet never comes back!
