Samsung HDTV problem
CraigDS

Hi all, I have been having trouble with my 39" samsung HDTV...it worked perfectly for the first year, but now everytime i turn on the TV it freezes if its on Digital (the built in digital the TV has)..and the only digital channel that works its ITV..

All the analogue channels work perfectly when I'm not on digital. But as soon as i turn it on i get this trouble.

Anyone experienced the same trouble or have any idea what could be the problem? Thanks.

is there a meter for the digital strength

has your aerial moved?

have you added any device weaking the signal?

is your transmittor weakened the signal to carry out repairs?

Go into the freeview settings and do a reset then rescan the channels.

Might help.

Thanks for the replies guys, I've managed to sort it out now...rang up sansung and there is a secret menu that you get on from pressing three buttons at the same time..from there was i able to reset the freeview (which you cannot do in the regular settings) and everything works perfect now

Glad you got it fixed, but what are the three buttons to use?

Yes, what are the buttons. I don't watch my freeview but you never know, may come in handy, especially with my lousy signal.

I've got freeview in my TV and my Panasonic DVD recorder, - It can get very confusing.
