I can't remember the exact words, but I think Ronnie said it. It was when Jack went to see her whilst she was ill and he started off by saying "so you're not pregnant then". I'll look for it.
The only explanation I would have for Ronnie being angry is that she is ashamed of what she did and concerned by it. To avoid these feelings she goes into denial and gets overly angry with Jack instead. Just doesn't work for me though - why would she seem upset when she thought jack hated her when she first came back? Most importantly, why would Jack act as though he has actually done something wrong? Sooo inconsistent. I kind of get the Joel thing. Her feelings for Joel aren't real. She doesn't really prefer him over Jack. It just so happens she's vulnerable and not well and she sees the man with a huge connection to her lost daughter, so irrationally clings to him, whilst pushing Jack and reality away. I think EE have deliberately shown that she is obsessed by him (ie what he represents), it's not a real or natural feeling she has for him. |

I'm all for Ronnie finding love and happiness, with or without Jack, but based on them connecting in the here and now, as well as someone who would love and appreciate Ronnie, drama or not. Joel strikes me as someone who prefers the quiet life. Ronnie may appeal now whilst his marriage breaks down, but he will never put up with the outbursts/drama etc.... |

Hey Guys-npt been on here for a while not really watching EE think this Joel stuff and the way she has been treating Jack who has been on his best behaviour is ridiculous ,I saw it the other night and couldn't undertsand her anger towards him I think Erin is right she seems like she is ashamed of what she did I notice she couldn't really look him in the eye but her body language said it all she still loves it was pretty obvious.
Somthing else I thought of I didn't watch the scene but apparently Ronnie used to ride on the back of Joel's motorbike? well she was only 14 at the time and to have a motorbike he would need a license making him at least 18 when they were together makes me understand Archies actions a little more I wouldn't like it if my 14 year daughter had an 18 year boyfriend and it would also mean she was under age when he slept with her I don't buy this nice guy Joel act for 3 reasons -he is shallow -he is a cheater and he had a relationship with an under age girl![]() .

^^^ You can ride a 50cc bike at 16 more likely riding illegally, and the school reunion would mean they were in the same year.

Jack knows they have no chance of starting a relationship with her again properly until she has grieved and that's why he said he would wait for her....
He still feels guilty about the Rox and Amy thing and he will always feel like he has done something wrong. |

I agree with you about Joel, Nickymonger. He couldn't be less suited to Ronnie and obviously never felt for her how she did for him. I don't think it's meant to be some big love story - Ronnie's approach to the whole thing just isn't normal or healthy. For me it's just a display of Ronnie losing it.
I get that Jack feels guilty about Roxy and Amy, but that doesn't seem to be the reason he's feeling guilty and apologising to Ronnie this time. Their whole reaction to the big condom drama just feels inconsistent to what has happened and more of a convenience to building the Joel storyline. |

And speaking of Joel, there seems to be no mention of him after Ronnie tells him about Danielle. I would have thought there would be some fallout from that and the way she died (even if he hasn't thought about Danielle much). It's weird there is no other spoilers there or we to assume that after that it is all hunky dorey :s Could hearing about Danielle's death and the real Ronnie trigger him to return to his family, valuing that his children are so alive and he doesn't want to miss anything like Ronnie and he did with Danielle :s After all, it is a bit rushed given that they haven't spent much time together at all.

Does ronnie actually tell him about danielle or does she change the subject?? All i have read is that roxy tells joel to ask about danielle??
Elsewhere, Ronnie tells Joel to ignore Roxy's standoffish behaviour; Christian reveals to Syed that the police have caught Luke, the man who attacked him; Roxy confronts Ronnie about her actions and reminds her that she's splitting up a family; Roxy tells Joel to ask Ronnie about Danielle; Syed tells Christian that he'll spend the night with him if he braves going out; Ronnie tells Joel the truth about Danielle; Christian braves a trip to the Minute Mart, but scrambles inside when he nears his flat; Roxy reluctantly apologises to her sister but at the same time suggests that she doesn't actually love Joel; Roxy meets with Dr Al again; and Bianca's confused when Dawn reveals that Ricky's away 'doing a job' for Phil. but this is the last we hear of them in the spoilers, so I agree with nickymonger, we have no clue as to Joel's reaction........ |

And has Ronnie dropped the idea of kids. As it seems bizarre that she would drop Jack because he wouldn't have kids right now to get with a man, who has three kids already and clearly won't have a kid now, as they have just met and he would have just left his wife/kids. No decent man would agree to a baby with three young children suffering the marriage breakup. That is if he even wants any more having three already :s

I think Ronnie wanting kids was a coping mechanism for her grief, a way of filling the hole and somewhere for her to attach all of her feelings for Danielle. I think Joel has simply replaced this coping mechanism. The new way to get over Danielle, as he has such strong links to her and so perhaps Ronnie feels closer to her in his presence. Or perhas she hasn't dropped her yearning for kids - what better way to replace Danielle than having a child with the same father? I can't see Joel wanting a baby, but Ronnie has her ways around that doesn't she...
![]() Then we have: Filming today: Episode 3871 Tx: 06/10/09 PEGGY: Yes but - I mean, Danielle. It's not that long and... RONNIE: I've moved on. PEGGY: Have you darling? Really? RONNIE: I'm trying. And let's be honest. Time's not on my side. PEGGY: That had crossed my mind as well. So baby talk still there in October. Filming today: Episode 3881 Tx: 23/10/09 ROXY:Is it me, or has the whole world got younger? RONNIE:It's you. ROXY:Well thank you, face-ache. Where's your twinkly bloke gone? RONNIE:He isn't 'my bloke'. Which suggests trouble in wonderland with whoever Or could simply be Ryan hanging around after Joel departs. But it would have to be someone Roxy thought could be a somebody and if she was with Joel why would she deny him being her bloke?!

I am getting slightly amused at the fact Jack is playing Joel/Ronnie matchmaker. He sits down on a speed date and gives her a line she uses on Joel. He goes to the Vic tonight and prompts her to go see Joel, kiss him and then sleep with him. Then an argument with Bianca about Jack then ensure Ronnie goes and issues him an ultimatum to leave his wife so they can be together.

![]() ![]() Although what Jack is playing at winding Ronnie up so much I dont know. He'd be better off helping her get rid of Archie.... but this is EE and that would be too easy. And its probably a measure of how much he isnt over her either, that he needs to wind her up every now and again to make himself feel better

Anyone know what this storyline is in October which involves Jack/Ronnie and gives an indication that they are not done for good :s I knowJoel is still around then. Please tell me we are not going to see a Jack/Ronnie/Joel love triangle. Joel is annoying me somewhat. I really dislike weak, passionless men who can't fight their own battles and expect someone else to make their decisions etc... I also find him a bit slimy. I found that Ronnie/Joel sex scene creepy, definately not romantic or sexy. At least with Ryan you could sense some passion. I also don't see how anyone can leave his kids the way he does. He should say to Ronnie to go back and he moves out on his own, giving his kids some full explanation on why daddy is going etc... Ronnie demands and he just walks out. I find that very very wrong. Jack's behaviur I understand it at the mo. I don't see it as him waiting though. I personally see it as Jack lashing out as Ronnie is lashing out at him and he has seen her having a new bloke. Jack has always done that. Sometimes I think it is done to show that Jack knows ronnie as he knows how to get a rise and the idea is that if she rises to it, she still cares/he gets to her type scenario. They have just reverted to how they were post christmas. At least I think that is what they are trying to tell us. I certainly dont buy that Ronnie loves Joel; she doesn't know him. And she is acting so out of character.

Ronnie definitely doesn't love Joel, I think she's obviously just obsessed with the link to Danielle. As for Joel, we have no idea what has been going on in his life. Perhaps we'll find that the marriage has been going downhill for many years and he just sees Ronnie as a way out?? I think Joel will leave his wife and he will move in with Ronnie. Ronnie will feel pressure to make it work as she has prompted him to leave his wife, but it will become increasingly clear to her that she doesn't love Joel and instead still loves Jack.
Isn't October around the time of Archie's exit? I have a wild theory that Archie is going to do something to Ronnie due anger and frustration at his inability to control her. Perhaps Jack will end up being a knight in shining armour??!! Can't wait for more Rack, whatever happens. Joel annoys me, as does the storyline in general. It's been very rushed IMO, which has led to inconsistencies with the Ronnie and Jack dynamic and a lack of reality surrounding the Ronnie and Joel reunion. |

makes me understand Archies actions a little more I wouldn't like it if my 14 year daughter had an 18 year boyfriend and it would also mean she was under age when he slept with her
