Happy New Year Rack fans! ”

I think its more in tune with their charactes. They are alike, both loners with few real friends, both with crazy families. And lets face it the invite list would be interesting;

Mitchell family - sister has his daughter, Phil/Jack hate each other, Peggy, Billy and co

Brannings - brother who he is estranged from, so much so that he doesn't seem to have gone over there considering Tanya and kids are gone. Then brothers wife is his ex who he lived with. Then there are the Jacksons who are crazy enough anyway.

It would turn into a circus which isn't Ronnie's thing.

Low key doesn't mean boring. I'd see the couple getting married abroad, but obviously budget wouldnt cater for that. Plus if it was a big wedding, there would be drama wouldn't there, which would no doubt be some cheating involved.

Happy New Year everybody!

I can actually see a small wedding. I don't mind either way as long as they are together and happy.

By the way you may have seen them already, but there are some new clips of Rack on you tube as well as some new music videos.
They are so cute.

I think so much has gone on, that it is difficuly to go back and "go slow". In some ways I could see a quicky wedding!”

Fair enough! If I were Ronnie and my relationship had previously fallen apart and we'd both been with other people since and hurt each other ...oh and I'd just lost a baby...an instant engagement would be too quick. I'd want the relationship to get a bit settled down again before I thought of marriage or engagement. If I were Jack and my engagement had gone hideously wrong previously and my partner had just lost a baby AND their dad, I wouldn't go there for a while either. I'd just be concentrating on being there for Ronnie as much as possible before asking her for such a serious commitment again.

I think they would both be serious about each other again instantly and they'd both still want to marry - I just don't think the engagement would come instantly.

-------

I love the fact Ronnie and Jack presumably spent New Years Eve together alone, as Peggy was with Aunt Sal, Roxy took Ben to the fireworks and Phil was with Shirley. If they weren't together, surely Jack would have been at Bianca's party!! Just wish we could have seen Rack's night

Well it looks like they are building them up slowly again. Jack and Ronnie have to heal and also win each other's trust again. Jack will continue to be there for Ronnie as there is a lot she will be dealing with for the next couple of months. I think that they won't be together as a couple before the live episode at least.
I can't wait for this week to be over so that we can have Rack back again. Hopefully there should be a few cute Rack moments on Monday.

I understand that perception. For me though, they may look at what's happened and think life is too short, we want that family together and don't want to waste any more time apart. Jack may also want to reaffirm he;s in it for the long haul. Essentially the time they are spending together now can be considered as rebuilding that trust etc... They are essentially just like they were together, just without the s$x

Family's Ronnie's thing though. I think she'd want everyone there.

Wouldn't Jack be at the club. About this slow build up stuff. If this was real life and they were my friends, I would have thought they were back together with some of, in particular, I'm still wondering why there have been no Max/Jack scenes though. We see every Roxy/Ronnie moment and they really miss out on the branning brother scenes, which are usually interesting. Why does Jack involved with Ronnie always involve him essentially as part of the Mitchell family at the expense of scenes with his family.

In my mind, Jack's taken leave from the club to look after Ronnie. He just pops in now and then to check on things!!

The lack of Jack & Max scenes is a little strange, only partially covered by the fact they don't exactly get on most of the time. I suppose Jack had been away and got thrown into all of the Ronnie drama the very day he got back. You would expect to see more between them though, I agree.
