Old TV-Replacement remote
Jennings

I have an old, well 14 year old Hitachi, and a broken remote control.
What are the chances of one of these universal remotes working.

Anybody had any experience?

Many thanks

Worth a try i guess. They sell them at tesco for about £9.99 n you can always put it on EBAY if it doesn't work.

Under a tenner eh! I'll certainly give it a try. I seem do remember that before these universals came a long it used to cost about £30 to £50 to get a replacement.

Thanks

Try Argos, you've got 16 days to flute around.

If a universal doesn't do it then www.cpc.co.uk have an incredible range of model specific remotes

I have the same problem with my ancient Panasonic TX1, there are many places on the net which provide remote replacements for around 15 quid. The thing is my TV cost me a tenner so I dont see the point really. Cant find the sky remote code for it either

All i want is to change the contrast !
