I have to say I didn't enjoy series 5 as much as the others. The dancing standard was just as good but it was all about Alesia and I just did not take to her at all. There was no way the judges would have had a final without her and to be honest I would have preferred a Gethin/Matt final. Alesia is a lovely bubbly person but her dancing just did not inspire me.

I was appalled by the constant sniping of some (only a few I know) Gethin fans and the way they all said they were doing multiple votes for Alesia because Matt knocked him out and not because she was the better dancer. The constant snipes in the last 2 weeks just made me feel low and tool away some enjoyment of the show.

I still think Alesia was constantly overmarked and some others were undermarked. She was given 10s when the judges actually said her foot work wasn't perfect ... how can you give a 10 for that! It sort of made a mockery of how the others in previous series were marked. When they got a 10 it was really deserved.

Before fans jump at me for not being inspired by Alesia ... It is my openion and I am entitled to that no matter what arguments are put forward. Sadly if the judges continue to have the final stay the same will happen again. Maybe if Kelly had stayed in we would have had a different final who knows but my memory of Series 5 is a few gethin fans going overboard with nastiness but also the judges behaving like school children and trying to shout the loudest and be the bad guy
