Yes Gethin fans may be miffed that he didn't get into the final, but saying that the way the judges treated him was shocking is pathetic, it makes certain geth fans look like bitter children.

God, Matt deserves the final leave the poor guy alone, how is it a fix that Gethin went when tonight, Matt performed better than him.

Be logical, a couple gets 4 10's (and im not interested in hearing that Matt and Flav were overmarked, they still got the higher score of the two dancers) and is in the dance off with a couple who got a lower score than them on the night.

Unless the highest scoring couple completely messed up, how could the judges justify chucking them out to please the fans of the lower scoring couple GET REAL!!! That would be the point where people could start saying that the show was a "fix", and write to OFCOM!

Please will you get off your high horses, and deal with the fact that tonight Matt was better than Gethin, and Gethin did not get enough votes to go safely into the final.

Matt is not the bloody anti-christ re-born or anything!! and neither are his fans. Why aren't you blaming Alesha for dancing well tonight!!!

Oh yess i forgot. Because Matt's the scape-goat for everything that Goes wrong from now on.

Unfortunately for Gethin, he was the worst dancer tonight. And after the 40 given to Matt on the show i am not surprised Gethin went.

There was no way that the judges would have undermined themselves and kicked off Matt after giving him all 4 10's.

If Gethin had performed better it would have been a different story but he didn't. Only has himself to blame.

I loved Matt a few weeks ago but he doesn't deserve a final place based on his performances over the last three weeks, Gethin has been streets ahead

IMO, Matt's second dance was better then Gethin's two dances, but Matt's first dance wasn't very good, but Alesha was the best tonight, her first dance was wicked luv it

To be honest, from what I've read, the majority of us aren't begrudging Matt his place (nor Alesha hers).

Personally, and I'll say it in here so I don't ruin anything on anyone's threads - I'd like to say congratulations to both Matt and Alesha!

This is very nice of you, and if you are a Gethin fan, I'm really sorry for you that he left. It was a great semi final, and he was a great contestant.

Neither do I!, How ridiculous is it that people are actually complaining to the BBC because Matt is in the final and they are so F*ing sour that they want to make a scandal out of it. When really look at Lettia's fans last week. They dealt with her leaving so gracefully, when last week crying outrage on Matt on the level that the Geth fans are would have been more understandable.


Because they are all negetive, lets blame Matt threads, and this one is in his and his suporters defence.


Geth's only been ahead 2 weeks !, gosh Matt was WAY WAY WAY ahead of him for 9! and and had 1 week where he wasnt on his best form but still produced 2 good dances and 1 week where he was bad. But he came back guns blazing better than Geth is fair and square! Deal with the fact that Matt danced better than Gethin TONIGHT!!

Are we saying that Matt's waltz was the best dance of the series so far? Of course not. I could name at least six dances better, including one of his own. I really don't know what the judges were doing tonight, except ensuring that Alesha wins next week.

Gethin COULD have gotten the most votes. This is a problem caused by the dance-off. I think it's only fair the person with the most votes should progress, whoever that is. Voting trends would have you believe that if there is ANY consistent vote topper it is Gethin
