I got there at 9:45 to queue, was the only person there so got embarrassed and went back to my hotel for the next hour.

When I came back I was still the first person there, but wasn't long until others joined as well. It was freezing cold all day and a painfully long wait, but everyone was so lovely and we all made friends and got on really well.

They let us in at about 3pm and we went to sit in the canteen before the show started.

We were offered voting cards in case the lines went down and obviously accepted them as this is supposed to give you earlier entry into the studio than just having the normal ticket.

Anyway, we got in, they recorded the juveniles along with Matt and Nicole and James and Ola, Nicole's earring fell out so they had to start that one again, then shortly after the show got underway.

The general opinion was that Alesha's Quickstep was best dance of the night, which I agreed with, thought it was really great. I think the standard of dancing overall was extremely high.

And at the end of the show when they announced Victor and Hanna performing I whooped really loud and Tess went, 'Well, they are good!' Haha, I had so many texts about that as all my friends knew it would have been me.

After the main show we went back into the canteen where I got forced to be interviewed for ITT(!) and I really hope they don't show that anyway, as by that time I'd been stood in the cold wind for hours on end and looked a state.

Highlight for me was the results show, James Blunt performed first with Darren and Lilia and James and Ola dancing a Rumba.

Then of course the best part, what I was there for in the first place, seeing Victor and Hanna dance, I practically launched myself off the balcony in excitement. I really loved it. It was very different to their usual presentation but different is good.

Anyway, they went to the dance off and Alesha was made up and a little surprised to be through. I really thought it could go either way after that. All the judegs looked gutted to have to choose. Both couples had loads of support and when the result was announced Gethin took it really well.

And then that was it, we were hurried out of the studio to collect our things and there were staff all over so I couldn't risk doing a dash on to the floor.

Anyway, when I got outside I phoned Hanna and she got Victor to come out and give me a little present from them both, a t-shirt that they got for me in Russia that had a gorgeous picture of them on it and their autographs. Am gonna treasure it forever.

Can't wait to watch it all back tonight!

How did Matt react to getting through? Glad to hear Gethin took it well...did Camilla?

Yes, both Gethin and Camilla took it well and were really sporting. Of course you could tell they were really sad to lose at that stage but were also pleased for Matt and Flavia. You could tell Matt was a little surprised but also very grateful. I think all three couples felt at risk last night.
