Just received and set up my new tv. Very happy with it so far - none of the infamous sharp banding issues

Does any one have any tips on settings before I start meddling with the defaults?

Also, I've also heard that LCD takes a week or two to 'settle' down - perhaps I should just leave as is until then?

Backlight seep, (In top corners) fades within a week, but I think what your heard is alot of s*it, urban legend kind of thing! and what banding issue do you speak of? Any how I find Sharp's colour rendition to be market leading, and far "Better.Than.No.Others" Sonys. BBC News 24 & Outdoor shot Brittish soaps such as Emmerdale are good for getting those NATURAL colours that are tricky to tackle, i.e. skintones etc. Happy Hunting!
