Hi,
I have just got a Panasonic DMR-EX77EB Digital DVD recorder and am experiencing problems with the digital TV it provides.

I went through the set-up and all the digital channels have been tuned and I am able to watch them all when I turn to AV.

The problem is I can only turn the channels over by eithier pressing the arrows on the remote up and down or by keying in the channel number I require. If I use the EPG and attempt to choose a channel by then pressing 'OK' on the remote, it turns the TV from AV mode in to normal mode or whatever it is called. I then have to press AV again on the TV to get the picture of the channel I have just turned to.

It seems weird that I can change channels by using everything but the EPG.

Please can anyone help?

Sounds like you have the DVD remote tuned to your TV as it is the TV's 'channel' that you are changing to non-AV.
I'm assuming that the OK button is actually selecting the channel on the EPG?

That certainly sounds likely especially if Rob has a Panny TV.

I have the EX-75 and assuming it's similar the mode can be changed under Setup-others-remote control. Full instructions are in the manual, they're simple but too much to enter here.
