It's my birthday and I've flatley refused to go out due to the Final.

Sitting in my warm, cosy lounge, in front of a roaring real fire, watching Strictly Come Dancing - of course! With perhaps an alocholic beverage of some description

Going away for Christmas to a cottage in Wales with parents. Have already stated that we must reach the cottage in time for SCD or I will not be happy! Mother agrees, father less than happy!

In a cottage in Wales with no Gethin in the final! (Don't tell the locals, they might cut off the electricity!)

I shall be up at the crack of dawn; get myself up to Tesco for some last minute bits and pieces. Pop in to see mum and dad (that'll put a stop to them coming to see me as soon as SCD starts). Come home, put shopping away, pop in here in between, make my lounge all nice and tidy. WARN my daughter home from uni that the tv is MINE MINE MINE from 5.50 - but she wont fuss, she's an ex dance pupil herself ! Ensure we're fed and watered by 5pm. Then sit back and relax ready for the off.

Then afterwards I'm hoping there will be celebration party going on in her for Alesha and Matthew where I can spend the rest of the evening. No matter what the outcome I will be celebrating her journey to the final and her, bound to be, amazing 5 dances.

I'll be out celebrating my friends Christmas trip home (she lives in New Zealand), but I'll sky+ the final and watch it at another time.

My partner comes back on Saturday from working away and he doesn't like Strictly ...however, I have a plan!!...

The cot has arrived for the baby and he will be banished to the nursary with screwdrivers and all necessary equipment whilst I lounge on the sofa in pregnant state declairing that there is no way I can help due to the health and saftey issues that missing SCD would have on the baby...not sure how well it will work or how difficult cots are to put up but hopefully it will take all evening
