So What will these 5 dances be then??

I'm guessing one will be the group dance with all the other contestants

One will be a pair dance so the judges can directly compare them.

One will be the Showdance

One will be the couples fave dance

One will be Judges choice (where they pick their worst dance to see if they have improved!)

Whaddya reckon?

Last year it was

Best ballroom

Best latin

Viennese waltz

Judges choice - same music but pros choose the dance

Freestyle/showdance

I'm guessing this year will be the same

Alesha has got a much bigger arsenal of wow dances to choose from.

So silly to have a two person final - they should have just had a free week somewhere along the line - so their could be three in the final.

What if Alesha or Matt get injured in this final week - or have to pull out? Was too risky to have a two person final - and ridiculous to have so many dances!

It means we'll have a mediocre final!

Couldn't agree more...

...but hope so much that this does not turn out to be the case.

It`s more like an endurance test than a final

Much better they bring back all of the couples to perform their favourite routine and just let the F2 do three quality dances.

Agree with Austen about the 3 person good/5 dance bad final, and also hoping with JB that we will still get a good final this year *all appendages crossed*

Tissy: if only they would do that!

I think that whatever they throw at Alesha, she'll manage it, and manage it brilliantly.

Sadly though, that will not matter, the GBP will vote for Matt.

They didn't vote for him saturday, at least not in as large numbers as they did for Alesha or else he would have been through over her.

Five dances are:

1. Best latin/ballroom
2. Ditto
3. Judge's choice of music, competitors choice of coreography (i.e. pointless 3rd dance to exhaust competitors, remember this being extremely dull and underwhelming last year).

First three all marked

4. Side by side viennese waltz (should be good)
5. Show dance (will probably suffer as they'll be knackered by now!)

Judges comment (and expect more sickening ovations from Len for Matt!) but don't score.
