OK - let's offer a slightly more constructive reply.
Sony currently seem to have a plethora of different models in the market - check any major website Dixons / Amazon / Comet / John Lewis / Argos and you'll see a variety of sets at different prices. Some are old models, some are new. It's also possible that there is an older higher-specced model at the same price or cheaper than a more basic new model.
Why Sony have to make things so complicated is beyond me.
Best suggestion: get hold of both of the model numbers, take a look around the web - including the Sony website - to get full specs and then make your decision from there.
Just cos it's badged a Sony Bravia, doesn't mean you'll always be comparing like with like.
