I dare say there's probably been a thread like this before, but I thought that as we reach the end of series five, it would be a good opportunity to look back over five series and choose our favourite dances!

My vote goes to Zoe Ball and Ian Waite's Tango. Everything about that dance was absolutely fantastic - the music, the choreography, the dancing. The drama of the dance was amazing, and watching it back even now gives me goosebumps! The Ballroom Tango is by far my favourite dance that we see on Strictly Come Dancing, and this one blew me away.

Sorry to be predictable but Jill and Darren's jive is still my favourite and not sure it will ever be replaced. It just grabbed me and whenever I hear 'I'm still standing' I am reminded of the electrifying dance and the hairs on my neck stand up.

Close behind is Mark and Karen's AT - Bond has never been so sexy!

Agree with marjangles. From this series, Alesha's waltz is my favourite so far.

It's ridiculous how few I can remember, tbh. Zoe and Ian's tango is a great choice (best dance by someone I wasn't at the time supporting, if that makes sense), just beaten by Mark and Karen's AT.

Special mention to Aled and Lilia's first dance in the first episode of series 2 - I don't remember what it was, but that was my first 'wow' dance that hooked me on this whole series, having completely refused to watch series 1.

This year, favourite dance probably Gethin & Camilla''s VW. Best moment of the series - Gethin standing in front of the band and turning to the crowd at the beginning of the salsa. That was my little bit of real magic this year.

I'll be predictable too and say jill's jive..still hasn't been beaten in my opinion

Although Colin & Erin are still my all-time favourites, my favourite dance ever is Aled & Lilia's christmas samba. I just loved everything about it. Also really liked the group jive to Rebel Yell this series.

Would have to add although I wouldn't put it in my top 5 I have rewatched Alesha's Quickstep a few times and I love it ..its my favourite dance of hers
