My feeling exactly. It's just luck that if Gethin had had the waltz and Matt the paso it might have all been the other way round. And that's not a complaint or a bash at Matt - luck is neither fair or unfair, it just is what it is. But considering how hard I find it to stomach, God knows what Camilla is feeling now.

I think it may of been her best chance too especially with the "big names" like Erin, Lillia, Darren, Anton and Brendan all out.

But she may get someone half decent she can turn around again next year.

Or maybe shes had enough heartbreak and decides to concentrate on her career but Ian would also have to do the same thing and I think he still enjoys the show asmuch as she does.

I agree, the waltz was a stroke of luck for Matt, but that's how it goes I guess.

I really felt for Camilla last night as I personally don't think Gethin was quite as good as he was two weeks ago and he really needed to be, as Matt got his act together big time (although I don't think his waltz was worth 4 tens).

I would have preferred Gethin to meet Alesha in the final and I really hope Matt is up to five dances in the final (Alesha too LOL!) - but I do feel sorry for Camilla and don't ever believe a word the Sun writes.

So what happened to the many theories on here that stated that Alesha was the judges' favourite, that they would always save her in any dance off (and they did ), that they chose Matt in order to ensure an Alesha win?

Or perhaps both sides are wrong and it is still an open and fair contest with no pre-ordained winner?

Its a shame someone had to retire from the comp again..... obviously statistically its easier to reach a final if there are 3 places up for grabs instead of 2.

In fairness to the other contestants - Camilla might not ever have been given a top-class contender, but she hasn't had anybody really crap except for David Dickinson way back in S1.

Roger, James, Ray and Gethin were all youngish blokes, all in reasonable shape (well, apart from James, but he lost 25lbs or something doing the show didn't he?!), all personable and ready to work damn hard to get results.

I think everyone else of more than two years' standing has had at least two people who were REALLY horrific...so I wouldn't make too much of Camilla's 'bad luck'!

Yes but none of her parners could dance so shes basicallly worked from scratch easch time. I expect she will get the old duffer next year but I think they also know how good Camilla is (I think only Lilla, Erin and now Flavia are as or more popular then her) so I think they will give her another moderate person next year.

I really cant see Camilla storming off after the show, I reckon The Sun have been making something out of nothing here. Camilla was probably tired and sore, especially after her injury and many hours of training and just wanted to go home. I think I would have been the same!

Erin and Flavia have both had at least one real no-hoper (Willie and Jimmy), but I don't think Lilia has ever had a dodgy one either, so I say give her the fat old geezer next year and leave Camilla with a contender

Oh, the pain on Camilla's face as she came off from the paso. It was horrible to see. Poor love. One positive, you could really see on ITT how solid the friendship between C&G is, more than ever. I think great things will happen for Gethin after this - I hope it opens lots of new doors for Camilla as well. I think she's shone even more than usual this year.

She has been absolutely fantastic this year and I really wanted to see her in the final but it was not to be unfortunately

I think it helps having two nice average people that have a partner they love. They are also both mature (Him 29, she 34ish) so there was no young puppy looking for an affair or going OTT with his partner.

I think they will be friends for life like she is with James.

Random thoughts. Watching it takes two tonight she was clearly niggled by what happened.

This is a difficulty with any event which is decided on opinions rather than facts. I know Athletics has had cheats but the winner is the one who runs fastest or jumps further or higher or throws an object further.

Dance like the Ice Skating is about one person's opinion about another.

Having said that I did feel once the Judges had given Matt a perfect score that the Dance Off result was a formality. Given that all the couples had to do an Argentine Tango it might have been fairer if both couples had had to do this for the Dance Off because then you would be comparing like with like. I do however realise you can't change the rules in midstream.

In short I think whoever had gone out last night would have been very disappointed.

I think what dance they going to do is decided in week 1. I remember Gethin said something that he want to do a lift and then Camilla say he's to wait until week 10 as it's Americam Smooth.

Actually, don't think it matters. Whatever he did, it looks like the judges was determined to give him the lowest mark. They were so pathetic that they even gave the reason of 'something missing, but don't know what'. How convincing is that? It's like saying that 'I want to criticise you, but can't think of a reason, I'll go ahead anything. Maybe that'd make sense to the ignorance audiences'

That's unfair. Sometimes a dance can be technically perfect but still leave you cold, for reasons you can't explain. That's not because you're a mean bugger who just wants to criticise someone. Hell, I'm a huge Alesha fan (actually slightly infatuated and obsessed, if I'm going to be entirely honest) but I've had that exact thing to say about one or two of hers - can't point out anything wrong, but it didn't have the extra something right either.

That's exactly how I've felt about the judges. The semi final was a disgrace. I'm also an Alesha fan not because of sexual attraction but because I like watching her dance. There was only one really sexy lady in SCD this year the little minx danced with stomper Kenny.
