OK I understand and sympathise with Gethin fans that Sunday was not the night you were hoping for and you're well within your right to have a tantrum (I certainly had a small sulk! ). But I really think that it is time to regain your dignity and composure and get stuck in for the last show ()

Come on everyone lets just kick up our heels whoop and cheer, Strictly will be off our screens after next week till next autumn, lets not waste energy on being sad, lets really enjoy whats left.

So, lets hear what people have really enjoyed about SCD series 5, I'll go first:

Me, me, me. I enjoyed the standard of dancing, the fact that I changed allegiances more often than my underwear , and I thought this year's contestants were really supportive of each other.

And who could forget Kenny's Paso and Rumba.

The final will be fab.

I have enjoed att the twists and turns that has happened. And all the shockers AKA Gabby Logan leaving.

I also sympathis with Gethin fans, but thats just the way it is, unfortunately. This is the most important and exciting week of the show...to lets all enojoy whats left!

I love Stephanie, Penny and Letitia. Kenny grew on me (didn't like him at first). Even Gabby became more likeable and showed some vulnerability.

I was so moved to see Kelly jumping up and down like a little girl with a fantasy come true when Kenny lift Ola in the Dirty Dancing group dance. She also cheered wildly and jumping like a bunny at Matt DA and Alesha's tens.

Love the show. Will feel bereft when it all ends. January is depressing even just to think about it...

Oh yes, Matt Di Angelo getting the first 40 of the series was by far my highlight!

Actually you are absolutely right, she probably was one of the most misunderstood contestants on this show ever. I really liked her by the end.

I know it sounds horrible but I'm pleased that Gethin went because I think he had a huge fan base and I want Alesha to win and I think she has a better chance against Matt (sorry Gethin fans )

Looking forward to seeing all the couples that have left and hearing the cheers from the audience for them

And I ain't got round to looking at the justifications for the disgrace that was Saturday/Sunday night...

Like where did Craig suddenly find his '10' paddle from? And why did he decide it needed an airing for THAT particular waltz, when at least four others have done better waltzes and/or examples of dances.

I think even Matt's fans will agree that Alesha is a more talented dancer and she would probably win over Matt in the final. Also, Matt just doesn't have as much pulling power than Alesha (i.e. popularity). With Gethin in the final, the popularity contest will have been a closer call...

but I still want to tantrum?

The word 'better' is arguable to say the least. I would say Alesha and Gethin had done their Waltzes JUST AS WELL as Matt, if pushed. But for me, it was the whole package(bar Matt's licking his lips which spoil the illusion for a split second): moving music, technically accomplished dancing, flow-y choregraphy (nice beginning, middle and the end), good acting from both Matt and Flavia. It was 90 seconds of beauty and I don't want it to end... I had the same feeling with Alesha's Foxtrot (even despite her mistake) too...

Then you should stick with those tantrums threads. There are still so many out there to choose from...

I've enjoyed not having a firm favourite this year - it's been really nice to watch it, for once, in a very calm state of mind and just enjoy everyone's dances - Although I will admit a soft spot for Kenny for being such a fun and sporting addition.

For me the best thing about this series is that the great way everyone seems to have gelled together - the couples seemed to really become friends, genuinely cheering each other on every week!

It is also the first time I've liked so many couples. Although Alesha has been my favourite from the start, I've really come to love so many of the couples this year and so I wouldn't have been broken hearted if she'd gone out before now.

I understand what you are saying and as a Gethin fan I think you are quite right. The problem is with this stupid dance off. If they didn't have that we would have a Gethin and Alesha final, I am convinced.

No tantrum from me, just the channel change button. Having said that we don't watch it live - we just watch the dances and fast forward through the drivel that comes from Bruce and look at the scores. I for one won't be watching the next series so I don't care that it will be off after next week. I am very disapointed though because when the show first started it was an absolute must to watch (despite Bruce)

This series has degenerated in to a complete farce (and its not because of the fact that gethin went out /matt stayed in it is the inconsistency in the judging and the behaviour of two of the judges (well len anyway).

I enjoyed Stephanie and Letitia and Kenny and Kelly and Gethin.

I loved the group Jive to Billy Idol - it is my highlight of all SCD's.

I loved watching Anton get tough, Brendan being gorgeous and James and Vincent being lovely and manly.

I have loved watching Karen every week - she is so knowledgeable and gorgeous (I have missed her so much).

I have loved watching Claudia.

I have enjoyed watching Darren and Ian and Lilia and Ola and the very beautiful Camilla.

These are my highlights.

I think i might fast forward to Alesha's dances because Matt has frankly done himself a great diservice by 'forgetting' his dances to make it to the final. I had really been supporting him as he seemed like a nice guy.

Matt will win as because of Alesha's gender and racial background and it makes me cross.

I have to say I dont think Mat should of got through the quater finals! he completely screwed up if this was a proper contest or sporting event there would be no second chances! Mat practically threw a hissy fit when he made a mess of it yet the public felt sorry for him during his strop and he got through, its stupid! we may as well of let kate garroway back in!! now Alesha to win!! very sad to see gethin and camilla leave!!
