Adding channels to mytv

Has anyone else had the problem, when adding either BBC one, BBC two, or ITV1 to mytv, from the TVGuide, they go right at the bottom of you're my tv list. Like BBC1 goes on channel 953 on my "mytv" channels list... even though it is normally on number one obviously. Very annoying. I hope it corrects itself when I get my new plus box (if ever ha ha!)

Hi,
Thanks for posting this. We are aware of the problem and hope to address this in the new year.

Had tiscali tv installed on the Friday, horrible tv guide, crummy picture, pixellating, freezing, removed it myself 2 days later and went back to Sky freesat, but the answer to the BBC1 etc question ending up as channel 953 etc. is, "that's the way it is" according to tiscali, also unless you have your terrestial ariel plugged into the box and do a local programmes scan, you will only get BBC London, ITV London etc and not the regional programmes. Also, what a laugh, they advertise it as "wireless", unless you have your wireless modem close to the set top box you will have a messy wiring installation done by the so called engineers to install an additional phone socket to enable the modem /router to be moved to the room where your tv is because you have to have an ethernet cable from the "wirless" modem/router to the set top box and then scart to the tv - really wirless !- not.

p.s. if you think BT customer service is bad try speaking to the tiscali indian call centre and holding on for 40 minutes whilst paying for the privilage - great !
