I am new to these forums so firstly hi everyone

My Surround Sound/DVD system is currently a Pioneer DCS 353.

This works very well for my purposes except:

There is no digital audio output meaning I can't get the surround data output to anything for example surround headphones like the below:

Also it does not provide "pseudo surround" for stereo inputs so that stereo sources only activate the front left and right speakers and the subwoofer..

So what I am looking to do without spending an arm and a leg if possible is replace the surround sound system for one that supports the items above.

Can anyone suggest a good system in the 200-300 quid sort of range?
