Just picked up FIFA 09 from WH Smith this morning, new and unopened for the bargain price of £1 (picked up the Shaun the Sheep box-set for £3 at the same time)! I know it's an old version, but even if I play it for a while and then trade it in I'm quids in.

They have a few games at the same price too, although there are some at the bank-busting price of £3 too. Once again, all new and unopened.

I have just popped into the WH Smith near my office and picked up Mirrors Edge for £2. They also had Guitar Hero World Tour for £4.
Strange times when you pop out to get a Starbucks and a game and the coffee cost more than the PS3.

Interesting Sony rewards site.
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/play...-34-99-/832732

I cant verfiy anything other than the access code supplied does get you in.

The 160GB PS3 bundle looks interesting at 199.99 though

Shopto have the prince of persia HD trilogy for £15.85 at the moment. It makes the prices on PSN seem even more inflated.

Borderlands Game of The Year Edition is only £14.85 from here. Just ordered it. A right bargain for the price.

A barebones 320GB PS3 slim @ The hut with code http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/play...-220-44/841592 for just over £220. Obviously no games but think it still makes it a bit of a bargain with that code.

Post on HUKD saying GT5 is £30 in Morrisons. If not priced as that, get it checked.

Is that a reputable site?
From what it says on HUKD website, people are stating they have received their orders before.

Just do it on a credit card, and then if no goods received, your credit card provider refunds you. That's what I do.

They also have Dead Space 2 for £29.99 too.

http://www.hotukdeals.com/merchant/bee-com/reviews

1 dec 2010, half way through the month I called to see where my order was. They took details and number and never called back. Called them again in Jan, they decided the order was cancelled due to a "technical fault" even though one item was highlighted as minxx 10/01/2011

Ordered something 13 days ago, still not received. I emailed 3 days ago, got no reply and they haven't picked up the phone at any point during the last couple of days. Maybe I'm just unlucky, but this is pretty poor.

I don't own a credit card. They are the work of the devil. If I want something then I save for it.

Credit is how this country is a finacial mess. /rant

I agree with you, 100%.

My credit card balance at the mo is £0.00!

I only ever use it if I'm a bit warey of somewhere. I used it for shopto when I first made a purchase with them, and the minute I got my game, I paid the £32.95 off.

Maybe you should get one with your debit card provider, it's handy and puts your mind at rest.

Have to say frailfury's right on the credit card thing. I own one not to make purchases I can't afford but to negate the risk. I don't buy things on credit as such, as I actually put the money onto my credit card as soon as I receive the goods.

It's important to know that if you buy on a debit card you're open to fraud, if you buy on a credit card the credit card company will fight your battles for you and you shouldn't lose a penny. A massive advantage, unless you're completely incapable of controlling your spending, in which case just buy everything in cash from the high street because any type of card is no good for you.

I agree that they do offer security that debit cards don't. I don't purchase enough online to warrant getting one though, from a security point of view. I don't doubt you though.

It's safe, really it is. Lot's of people saying they got their goods.
If it were dodgy, they'd be selling them for even less, and not selling other games more expensive than play and amazon.
