Oh, we have so much in common!

I liked Alesha from the start, and knew her a bit from her Misteeq days. Matt I'd never heard of before and I was more interested to see Flavia's choreography than his dancing. However, I pretty quickly decided he was the 'other' talented dancer in the competition.

Like you, I have posted far more in support of Matt than I have of Alesha. Let's face it, I just can't let stupid and unfair comments go without a challenge.

I honestly don't mind which of them wins on Saturday...





...OK, a little bit of me would like to see Matt dance so well he blows everyone away and wins the title. Unfortunately I think even if he does the former, he probably won't manage the latter.

Right now lets start talking sense,Di Angelo is not in the same league as Alesha and its a dance competition,so unless Alesha has an absolute disaster on Saturday dont vote for the Eastenders guy just because you fancy him.Vote for the best dancer

In your opinion she may be the best, not in mine though. She has her problems and weaknesses just as Matt does. Having said that I think she is fantastic - but I think it incredibly unfair that her negatives are rarely highlighted by the judges/commentators. Not only unfair to the other contestants but also to Alesha, she should have been told to sort out her leg/footwork problem a long time ago!

She is a beautiful woman and dancer, I love watching her, she beguiles us and disguses her problems with flawless performances which are a treat to watch.

I believe there is little to choose between Matt and Alesha and it should make for a thrilling final. Throughout the series they have been the most exciting to watch!

Matt just edges it for me because on the many, many times he has danced well, he puts in great performance and is usually technically more sound than Alesha.

Matt might be the best dancer? I don't think the gap between them is as great as people imagine.

I'm supporting Matt and Flavia because they've entertained me the most and I do think that Matt has a natural dancing talent. However, I do recognise how good Alesha is and will be totally happy if she wins the title - just happier if Matt and Flavia managed it.

Well I like both Matt and Alesha - but with all the negativity towards Matt - on TV and off it - I'm giving my support to him.

Why can you not just support Alesha without slagging of Matt and his fans? The vast majority of Matt & Alesha fans can support their respective contestant without being disrespectful towards the other.

I'd love Matt to win, him and Flavia have been fantastic.

I would have agreed with you up until a couple of weeks ago but I have to say he is irritating me now. When you get to the last few weeks of the competition you cannot afford to 'lose it' and I think he should have been in the dance off with Letisha. Now that Gethin is gone, I am backing Alesha, she is much more consistent.

Still lets wait until Saturday, he may surprise us and I will then pickle my walnuts.

I think consistency can be overrated. After all, Kate was consistent.

I wouldn't agree he is technically more sound than Alesha. Both have their strengths and both equally have their slight weaknesses.

I think her weaknesses have been pointed...in fact, perhaps more than others over the last few weeks. The judges have pointed out the footwork since quite early on and although she does have the odd slip, it is by no means a problem all the time when she dances. They have blatantly tried to work on it and apart from samba, it has improved. The judges have admitted they have dropped her points for a slight hesitation in the past - I think they definitely highlight weaknesses!

On the other side, whilst they have praised her performance, the judges have never given her enough praise for her actual dancing and improvement IMO. The feet may slip occasionally by not going through the floor enough, but she has otherwise shown brilliant technique. Great posture and top line in ballroom, great arms, hips and body rhythm in latin and very difficult routines packed with content in both. She's a lot more than just a great performer.

Matt is also brilliant though. Although he has weaknesses which the judges sometimes haven't commented on, he also has a lot of strengths and is a very worthy finalist. He could definitely get the title and he has certainly done enough to deserve it if he wins. He's been my second favourite the whole way through and I hope he has no probs with his routines on Saturday and dances to his potential.

I like them both and whilst I slightly prefer Alesha, I wish them both loads of luck in the final and think it could be pretty even if they both dance well.

I'm a Matt/Alesha/Gethin supporter, and I'd love the winner to be whoever dances the best on the night ... Matt is a simply fantastic dancer, and I hope (after last week's waltz) that he can prove that and be the best on the night! ... go Matt! (... and Alesha!) ... and I hope the best dancer wins!

Will be rooting for Matt and Flavia all the way, but as long as it's a fair fight (i.e. no stuffed-up performances/sympathy votes/sob stories/dodgy tens from Len/repeats of Puppetgate ) then I can live with defeat...

Well i would have prefered a Matt & Gethin final but I think both in the final are deserving.

Matt for hid improvement (and his shimmy )

Alesha was my favourite from the start but I've really enjoyed the competition as a whole, such a contrasting bunch and a great backstage atmosphere.
I've enjoyed lots of dances but for me the other stand out celebrity has been Matt.
I haven't felt strongly enough to post this year, just sat back and enjoyed the shows but some of the very unfair comments against Matt and I think some unfair comments on ITT too, just had to be mentioned. He has done some wow dances and for me the two best are in the final.

I'm hoping for a great show on Saturday from both finalists and I'm very pleased it's these two. Hope they have fun and that the best dancer on the night wins and for me it really could be either of them. They both have that something special. Just hope 5 dances! again doesn't detract from their performances because I just want to see them both wow everyone.

It makes me laugh that two weeks ago there was outrage because Matt was voted through by the public when he should have been in the dance-off and faced the judges. Then last week he WAS in the dance-off and faced the judges so now there is outrage that the judges were unfair - it should have been down to the public vote. So now the judges are wrong and should be changed - and presumably we should keep on changing them till we get the result we want! 4x Phillip maybe?

I do think the more ITT continues in an anti-Matt mode throughout the week, the more Matt's chances of winning increase.
