It's actually Claudia, who I normally adore, who has been irritating me. I have the impression the first thing she wants to ask everyone on the show is do you think Matt's walz really deserved 4x10, and do you think it's wrong that Gethin is out. It may only be my impression, for sure, but this, along with all the negativity towards Matt on here, is making my support, which was evenly balanced between Matt and Alesha, veer strongly towards Matt alone.

If he wins or not, I think he shall be a winner in a lot of peoples eyes and a better person for the whole SCD experience.

I feel the same. I normally love Claudia but if she says that to one more person I'll scream. It's almost like she has been reading this forum and thinks that it is the over riding opinion 'out there' and it's not, it's just some of us are not as vociferous at voicing our opinions.
I've liked Alesha from the start but Matt's dancing has won me over too, but I've found that line of questioning really annoying, that and all the 'concerns' about whether Matt will remember the dance. Poor guy hope he takes no notice, he can do it he showed us in most of the previous weeks and last Saturday under enormous pressure when he was not just filming but also saying goodbye to Eastenders so he had a lot on his plate. Had it been say Gethin's last ever Blue Peter he was doing the same week he'd be forgiven for having his mind in two places wouldn't he?
Can't wait for Saturday I'm sure they'll both be fabulous, they're both such exciting dancers with great chemistry with their partners.

Matt and Flav to win

He can dance and - even on his worst night - I could see that. It was not about the quality of dancing it was about a breakdown – on live TV.
He has bounced back and that is also a great message for all of us – because all of us experience that total low point at some time in life.


I am personally backing Matt & Flavia as the most exciting dancers, but I wish both couples GOOD LUCK.

I totally agree - last night Craig implied he was losing sleep worrying about whether Matt would remember his routines As I said on another thread the judges should be imparial (at any stage) but certainly at this stage-At the moment one wonders if at this stage there is any point in Matt turning up on Saturday?

I am so confused as would like them both to win.......BUT if I have to come off fence then it will be for Matt and Flavia. The chemistry between them is so special and when on top form am wowed.

I'm in two minds about winning. He IS my second place couple on the show. However, I feel SO strongly about Alesha & Matt C...

Right now, I'm saying that I'd be happy whoever wins, but happier if Alesha wins. On the night, I'm probably going to be gutted if Matt & Flavia win, LOL. But good luck to them both!

I have a feeling Matt and Flavia are going to own with their showdance and I'm not sure whether to be happy about that. The Matt fan in me is thinking "WOOOHOO! Can't WAIT to see!" and the Alesha fan in me is thinking "Noooo! Go back to second place where you belong, you big buffoon! "

Alesha is a great dancer and I love Matt Cutler, he's a lovely person but I want Matt and Flavia to win, they have constantly wowed us over the weeks with Flavia's exciting choreography and the connection and chemistry between the two of them is electric. Their waltz last week definitely deserved 4 x 10s, it was faultless and absolutely beautiful to watch. I cried when it finished.

I could watch Matt and Flavia dance all night whereas great dancer as she is, Alesha never ever wows me and I find myself quite bored by Alesha and Matt's routines.

I really hope Matt and Flavia win, they are fantastic. Good luck for tonight Matt and Flavia and fingers crossed,

This is an appreciation thread. As such it is NOT the place for negative comments about Matt, or raving about Alesha.

I am not a relative of Matt di Angelo, but I agree with Siouxsie22.

I could watch Matt & Flavia all night – and actually do spend hours watching them on Youtube.

Alesha and Matt C are lovely and she has been consistent. I do feel that she is overmarked and I do notice the ‘lazy’ footwork. She is a great performer, but the routines don’t move me. Her waltz reminded me of a Disney princess – lovely, but didn’t touch me.
I loved Matt and Flavia’s waltz because it was full of real romance and emotion - for me.
We all look at performances subjectively and thank goodness we are all different.

It would seem that everyone is rooting for Alesha and that is fine.
Allow us to be keen on our favourites here though please. We have ‘switches’ – Matt and Flavia turn them on and light up the room.

Good luck to both couples tonight – I hope we all enjoy a FAB show.

I love Alesha - she is a fantastic dancer - but I love to watch Matt and Flavia dance - and am always sorry when their dance finishes. So from that point of view I want Matt and Flavia to win just that little bit more - can't wait to see the show dances.
