i've recently had sky hd installed and am looking to buy a home cinema system to get the most out of it.

however, i have been offered a LG system, model number LH-T550TB, for £50 by a friend but don't know if it is compatible with hd.

if someone can tell me whether it is a bargain or i need to spend more to get the most from sky i would be very grateful because like most people i don't have money to burn

Most dvd/home cinema units only have stereo inputs for a external input, for use with Dolby Pro logic & Dolby Pro logic II. This wouldnt do your box a diservice but aint as good as true 5.1 sound.
