I've never been a "Gethin Fan" I think he has other qualities that will shine through in years to come - dancing he's sort of average at.
What concerns me is fairness and this obviously wasn't. If it's interactive with money then judges should be advisory only. The judges can arrange the outcome and yet money is still being "extracted" from the gullible public. It sucks. ), there is no doubt about it. And I am sure Strictly has opened many doors for him. I am not sure if it's a good idea to have a three-person semi-finals plus the dance-off. The more I think about it the more daft it sounds. I know originally they wanted four in the semi-finals and that will make more sense for the voting and dance-off, but BBC should think of a better plan-B than letting the show continue to run and have a three-person semi and two-person final.

With all the contoversy, it will be a bit of a Pyrrhic victory for whoever wins.
Neither Matt or Alesha will ever really know for sure if they could've pulled it off in a square go. Where's the satisfaction in that? |

I agree in principle with the dance off.....or the judges having the final say in the early stages of the competition.....but I feel that a place in the final should be decided by the public vote.I think this would have been fairer for everyone....Including Matt.....because his place in the final is being questioned because some feel the judges made the wrong decision....and for all we know Matt may have had more public support than Gethin.
