Gethin is a super-guy (or super-man! ), there is no doubt about it. And I am sure Strictly has opened many doors for him. I am not sure if it's a good idea to have a three-person semi-finals plus the dance-off. The more I think about it the more daft it sounds. I know originally they wanted four in the semi-finals and that will make more sense for the voting and dance-off, but BBC should think of a better plan-B than letting the show continue to run and have a three-person semi and two-person final.

This is the only thing that annoys me about the whole thing, 'cause Gethin could have had the highest public vote. Problem is there's no use getting annoyed about it because we knew the rules... it just seems a touch illogical.

S'done now, and we did have him for the whole run, so there's not too much to be upset about!

I agree in principle with the dance off.....or the judges having the final say in the early stages of the competition.....but I feel that a place in the final should be decided by the public vote.I think this would have been fairer for everyone....Including Matt.....because his place in the final is being questioned because some feel the judges made the wrong decision....and for all we know Matt may have had more public support than Gethin.

With all the contoversy, it will be a bit of a Pyrrhic victory for whoever wins.

Neither Matt or Alesha will ever really know for sure if they could've pulled it off in a square go. Where's the satisfaction in that?

The problem with plan B is that they can only afford to lose one celebrity. If anyone else had had to pull out this series as well as Kelly (e.g. due to illness or injury), they would have been stuffed for the final.

There's the rub Matt may have had more voting support but there again he may not. I suspect he had less than 20% based on last weeks poll.
